The biggest plus is his objectiveness, especially with the Warriors. He gets the facts straight and doesn't waver from criticizing the Warriors or the Giants coaching and management staff. He understands sports is a results-driven business. Giving excuses like "too many injuries" or "they're developing young players" doesn't cut it when fans are paying big money to watch games. The only suggestion I have: More interviews with athletes. Even obscure ones. Gary Radnich is a great interviewer with his experience on TV and radio. I remembered when he interviewed SJ Earthquakes' GK Joe Cannon and went off-topic when he asked about partying with Tom Cruise at David Beckham's first match in the USA. That was classic.

NPR and La Raza are the only stations I can really stand to listen to for more than 5 minutes at a time.
