Mole combo plate, view, and menu

First meal in Oaxaca. Tried the mole combination and was super good. The meal was designed for two and came with two drinks- choice of beer or mezcal. They brought more rice and offered more tortillas. We actually started with a nieves mezcal which was like a snow cone with an adult twist and was refreshing and good. Didn't bother us, but do know that it is likely no one there speaks English. Gorgeous view from our table recommended.

A previous review said to here so we did and we didn't regret. Esther the wonder took great care of us. I don't like lots of spice so she made great recommendations. The mole pack with 6 different moles was nice . It comes with rice and tortillas , 2 beers 2 mezcal and a jarra /pitcher de aqua/ flavored water (oops we forgot that!) We ordered more food because we were still hungry . Try the crickets .

Chicken soup, enchiladas, tlayudas, and mineral lemonade are a must! Service was absolutely amazing. Came to eat here 2 nights in a row and will be back when I am back in Oaxaca!

the food here was delicious!!! can't express it enough. it was very homey feeling and the lady who helped us was so nice and sweet. we got the mole sampler with chicken which was delicious. it was fun to try the different types of mole that i don't usually see back home. the sampler also came a shot of mezcal and a beer for each of us which was awesome and delightful. we also each got our own tlayuda. my friend for the simple one since she's vegetarian and my friend and i both got the sausage one. it ended up being a ton of food all together for the three of us. this place was super cute and i would totally go here again.

I waited till the end of my trip to write this review. It's confirmed - this was the BEST black mole I had in Oaxaca. Her mole is so complex - smokey, semi sweet but super savory. Hands down the best and I was on a mole hunt down for two weeks. Try the mole!!!

Great spot for lunch and charming servers. Everything we had was good and a definite value. Get the orange juice with mineral water! Huge and satisfying!

Very tasty food, we had breakfast there. It has the home feeling. Try the cafe de olla. It's very good, even without sugar and cream.

I thought it was funny when I got the menu and the food menu was only one page while the drink menu was five pages. The outside of the restaurant is blue-ish and the restaurant has multiple rooms. The ceviche del dia ($190 MXN) was a little sweet and not as tart or sour as others I've had. The tacos de sirloin ($170) were really good and were our group's favorite. The taquitos dorados de mole negro ($140) were okay; there was no meat just in case you were wondering. The aguachile rojo de camaron ($190) were good. The esquite con tuetano ($100) was not like a typical corn in a cup but it was closer to a corn soup. For drinks I had the pequeño gigante ($210) which was good. The paloma madura and paloma margarita were both favorites among our group. We went during the day and it wasn't that busy but supposedly it gets way busier and livelier at night.

I came here for the renowned drinks but also ended up loving their food! It's a super cute spot…read morewith tiles and open balcony doors. We were able to get a seat right away and the servers were super helpful. My friend wanted to try some mezcal and they let us taste a couple before choosing. We sat at the restaurant instead of the bar because it was cuter and I wanted food too. I tried two of their fruity mezcal drinks and loved both. I forget the names but one had watermelon, and the other had coconut and lime. I ordered cheese stuffed plantains with mole and this was soooo good. It was very filling too!
