Omg the best Mexican food in Hesperia! We ordered tacos de lengua and carne asada, torta de carne asada, wet burrito and the carne asada sopes. Everything was delicious. I've only been up here a few months so I can't speak to well in comparison to a lot of locations, but since I've been here this is the first Mexican restaurant that's made me stop going to all the places I previously dined at. The first time I went I had fish tacos and some type of bean soup, I don't even like beans but damn it these beans were on another level. The fish taco was a fried cod and it was crispy like a bag of pork skins. The next time I went I had the beef sope, and it was simply amazing. It's easy to miss but located on I Ave, it's situated front and centered in a small plaza. They have flags and banners announcing when they're open. The place is so spacious and very clean! It was my first time here and the place was quite cozy. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The menu is MASSIVE, I mean it has everything you would want. They also offer beer and aguas but also serve regular soft drinks. I ordered the tacos and omg they were so good! Served neat and clean, with lots of goodness! No skimping out on meat here! I mean in other places they chop the hell out of the meat into the smallest chunks they can while here at the gallo you can actually SEE what you're eating! Stopped here on a whim and was not disappointed. First impression was how clean it as and smelled nice (I know that's kind of a low bar but still surprisingly an issue at some places). Second, the staff was very polite and friendly. I had the shrimp cocktail and a fish taco and my friend had a carne torta. Best tacos in the desert! The chips and salsa are perfect. If I want Flautas I go to La Casita, but if I want tacos, I'm coming here. Nice cozy restaurant with quite the variety as far as the menu goes. As a parent, it was nice to have solid kid options like chicken fingers.
