The fragrant smell of freshly baked goods drew us in from across the street. My hot unsweetened chocolate was amazing! My guy ordered a cappuccino and scone--all fresh and delicious! We highly recommend this cute pastry shop. You can order coffee from the pastry side, and they will bring it out to your table.

Great place for coffee, lunch or early dinner right near the heart of downtown. Attractive multi-level cafe with local art and attentive service. But the star is the food. Eggs, quiche and salad prepared from scratch. Mouthwatering pastries and many coffee and cold drink options. We both had egg dishes that were yummy and ample. Soft eggs in tomato and light cream sauce with poblano chilis. Avocado toast with fried eggs and lettuce. Both served on crisp, thinly sliced baguettes. Can't wait to return. read more

Located on Jesus 2-B, Zona Centro (not Mesones), is a quaint, tranquil restaurant with incredible food. Owner Paco Cardenas prepares all the top notch pastries and dishes with the skill of one of the best chefs ever. We sat in the outdoor courtyard, listening to the water from the fountain while eating freshly turned out almond croissants while waiting for our breakfast to arrive. The croissant was warm, delicately crunchy on the outside and flavorful throughout. My breakfast was eggs, in a light cream sauce served with freshly baked crisp baquette and was exquisite. Pastries, tarts and cookies are prepared fresh daily to take home. Their coffee drinks are delicious as well. Finally, our family took a cooking class with Paco and it was one of the best experiences we've had in SMA. He's a great teacher, speaks fluent English and is very friendly. Great spot for excellent quality pastries and baked goods better than Europe. Nice and airy, they could work on decor as it has really no cuteness to match how good the place is. Very attentive and efficient staff. read more
