We had the Maracuya (Passion fruit) and the mango. I also bought some beautiful local avocados and other produce. Their market place has unique items that range from homemade chicharrones to Italian gluten free pasta! Visited this place yesterday. Nice place and clean but not well organized. You have to go to one cashier for the shakes, ice cream and snow cones, place and pay for your order and go to another place for pick up. But this is no clearly indicated. She said she could give us a menu if we were ordering to go or she could take my number down a call us when a table became available . I gave her my number which she proceeded to write on a random piece of paper. We walked around and waited for a little bit and went back when WE Noticed an empty table. We were seated right away and a waitress bought us menus. We ordered the house potatoes as an appetizer, a beer and water. We got our drinks and ordered our entrée. All the food came out at the same time, to include the appetizer. The lechón needed a little lime and the congris a little salt, other then that is was good. Of course we had to ask another waitress for the lime and salt. The chicken tacos came with a nice salad and yellow rice with vegetables. The rice was really good, the taco no so great. The house potatoes only had a little bit of bacon and something like cheezwiz instead of cheese. No worth $6.99. The pony ride is $5. Took us a long time to get the waitress attention for the check which came with gratuity already added. It was an ok outing but no worth the drive. Oh and they only have two porta potty. I just back from El Ranchito Marketplace and it was awesome. I liked the open seating and the palm thatched roof plus the various Cuban Caribbean motifs with a very rural feel. But! Let's get to it the food. It was plentiful and awesome. I had the Pan Con Lechón with a side order of tostones. My wife had the fish sándwich with fries. We ordered a tamale with chunks of pork as an appetizer, which could have been a meal on its own. Everything was warm, freshly made and most of all delicious. Especially the tostones. I have tried many tostones in Cuban restaurants in Miami and El Ranchito Marketplace tops them all. The place was busy but the wait wasn't long. Showing total bill if paying by credit card with 18% and 15% service charges plus $6.13 with total after all that and taxes $170.99. But find out they charged my card an extra added tip at $5.13. This place is a giant tiki hut just 2 minutes from my house and they have tons of fruits and veggies. They also have HUGE icees with a variety of flavors to chose from! I got hubby a chocolate chip and vanilla cream shake which he loved. I'm not sure what makes the cream in the shake so special, but it was really yummy! They also sell food, which smelled delicious, but we only had refreshments this time around. We'll definitely be back to try the food and grab another icee! read more

They had fridges with natural juices as well as a walk in refrigerated section where you could find other fruits and vegetables. They sell food, shakes, shaved ice and natural juices! We asked where we can sit they gave us the menus and then we sat where we wanted. The red head waitress was nice and she helped us but then after taking our drink and appetizer order she brought the food and then disappears. We thought possibly she was the only waitress because many restaurants are running low on staff which is understandable, but this place just took advantage. As well I needed a new fork and to get someone's attention was a hassle I had to get up and ask the kitchen for one. Once I was at the kitchen entrance, I see all of them on their phones talking amongst themselves and people were also waiting at the front to speak to someone. Once it was time to pay the bill, my mom realized the bill had different prices from the menu. Each item was an extra $1-3 on the bill. They advertise pony rides start at 10am which is not true. This was the whole reason we went in first place so it was let down for kids. Service at restaurant is subpar. The menu says toast and coffee included with breakfast but they "forget" unless you ask. Bacon is poor quality and other foods are nothing special. Service is generally unfriendly. I had to go up to register to pay and they still ignored me, talking amongst themselves which tables were whose.
