Great vibe and a traditional place to have great Puerto Rican food. Typical wait time for food on the island and the service was easy going. Enjoy!

Came here with some friends to eat and watch the sunset and it was amazing! From the views to the…read moreservice to the food, everything was perfect! We got a seat outside, overlooking the water with the most beautiful view. (If you come you have to sit outside!) They also had live music which made it so special. We decided to order the platanos rellenos of ropa vieja and they were so good. Being from Miami and missing home, these definitely hit the spot. We also ordered sorullitos which were fried perfectly and so tasty. For dinner we split a cubano sandwich and it was so hearty. The pork was done to perfection and it was a perfect meal to split since we wanted to pick at different things. I can't wait to go back and try one of their dinner entrees!

A wonderful meal in Joyuda! We drove through torrential rain and flooded roads to have lunch here…read moreand it was totally worth it. We sat on the covered porch on the water as we waited for the rain (and the roads) to clear. I parked across the street, which was fine. The patio was nice, right on the water with boats bobbing and nice views. Service was team-style, with a young and enthusiastic staff who spoke English but really challenged my Spanish ability as well! Food came out pretty quick. I had a mojito which frankly was far from the best I had in this trip (it was t too sweet but the mont leaves seemed whole, not muddled). We had the conch ceviche which was EXCELLENT. We also split the seafood paella, which was also EXCELLENT. I was also very jealous of the whole red snapper being served at the table next to us, but no regrets - the squid, conch, shrimp, octopus, and mussels in the paella were all fantastic. Nice views, nice service, great food. Would highly recommend.

A great tapas & mofongo bar at the center of town! We were…read morestaying a block away and decided to dine here after comparing numerous options in the area. Well, it was the right choice for sure. We wanted to go tapas since by then (day 6), we were acclimated with the heaviness of Puerto Rican meals in general (carbs and fried foods), so we didn't order the mofongos. Jose was our server and he seated us promptly near the corner. ORDER their mojitos! I really enjoyed mine - full of mint leaves and strong rum. My wife also enjoyed her virgin pina colada which was refreshing. Tempura shrimp in sweet chili sauce ($11, App, 4/5) - Generous portion, slightly too sweet for us but had great juicy shrimp w/ shrimp taste. Jalapeno and Cream Cheese Poppers ($8, App, 4/5) - Loaded w/ cream cheese but no actual jalapeno peppers really (slight disappointment), it still was enjoyable to eat due to nice crispy texture, jalapeno taste, and the delectable guava sauce Empanadillas del dia ($3.50, App, 3/5) - It was chicken that day and chicken was not too dry though amount of the filling left a bit to be desired. It's pretty big & filling, so watch out. Fish Tacos ($10, Entree, 5/5) - One of the best fish tacos I've ever had. Fish bites were fresh, crispy and light, paired against good amount of sour relishes and green leaf on a warm tortilla. Also there were THREE of them! (I think the first fish tacos I've ever ordered that came as 3, not 2!) We ordered this after finishing our 3 tapas because we were still slightly "not full", but man these packed quite the punch and we were STUFFED SILLY after these for sure. Wow, some delicious business here. Btw, Jose's service was really excellent. He was super attentive, checking up on us just the right amount of times, and even went outside to take picture for us with the signs after our meal. He made our dinner experience that much more pleasant. Moons Bar & Tapas really delivers with overall consistent taste & quality. I won't hesitate to stop by next time for their mofongos!
