My parents wanted to try this place. It's a grocery store right off Dixie hwy with it's own parking…read morelot. When you walk in the grocery store is on the right & they have a bar to the left & there is a small section to sit down & eat next to the buffet. Just an FYI Hispanic owned restaurant & store, English isn't the first language but they still provide friendly & great service. It's buffet style restaurant, they do to go as well. No menus at this time, essentially you get a plate & drink for one price (price may vary based on what meat option(s) you choose). The server told & showed us what options they were offering on this day. There were 2 different rice options: black beans & yellow rice w/o beans, veggies options either yuca or plantains, a good amount of protein options from shredded chicken & beef, to pork (bone in), ribs (bone in) & lamb ( bone in) & more. I decided on a plate with the rice w/beans, fried plantains, & the lamb. It also came with a side salad (just shredded lettuce & sliced tomatoes) she gave us a large plate for the table. The portion size was large but I was sharing my plate, which was plenty for the both of us. The rice & beans were well seasoned, the plantains were my favorite, sweet & delicious, the lamb was easy to eat, fall off the bone & seasoned. They had can drink options, I got a diet pineapple soda which wasn't bad & not overly sweet. It was a decent meal for about $15.00. We hit of the grocery part next, I got a couple of my favorite seasonings & some Goya waffers & a couple of drinks for the rode. The prices was great & affordable, but they do have a lot options in the grocery store from frozen goods to some fresh produce. If you are in the area & wants some Cuban foods, check this place out.
