This is the go to place for climbers to stay at EPC. Lots of other places but this has been around for years and have many options for accommodations. Whether you need a private room with a shred bathroom, shared bedroom with shared bathrooms, your own suite with a Mountain View, or camp on their enclosed green yard, it's catering to all types of climber, hiker, or anyone looking for an affordable stay. They have a small climbing gym space and little Studio lounge with a couch for chillin out or training on your rest or rainy days. They have a huge shared kitchen space with all the kitchen tools you could ever need: pots, pans, utensils, air fryer, microwave, plenty of cooking stoves and eating area. Then kitchen is kept well clean and everyone has a bin to store their food for both room temp and space in the refrigerator. Bathrooms are kept clean as well. They have a nice jacuzzi open every other day and a pool To keep you cool on those hot days. About a mile from the park, it's a great place to stay. Getting here is easy via maps and you can arrange a taxi with the hostel. read more
Gorgeous, friendly, homey, affordable motel/campground/hostel A little further than other options for climbers but considerably more peaceful and quiet (but don't kid yourself the party culture is what it is) Dauntingly beautiful views at dusk and dawn, clean bathrooms (though they could use more for campers) Motel rooms have their own bano. Shady spots are limited but the grass is clean and soft just about anywhere for tent placement. All employees were wonderfully attentive and committed. 200 pesos a night for a tent spot - includes community kitchen with stoves, ovens, fridge, french press. Very chill - send em a facebook message (use google translate if you don't speak spanish) . I showed up in the middle of the night and just did my thing. paid on my way out 2 days later - super chill. FREE WIFI! note!!!!! HARD TO FIND! GPS: 25.962514, -100.474209 Last few blocks will be rough gravel roads. CONTACT VIA FACEBOOK or: rancho.elsendero@hotmail.com read more
A super chill place to camp and cook near the base of the park. The vibe here is super relaxed. They have plenty of dogs to cuddle and play with, and a great view of the mountains. The bathrooms, showers, and kitchen are always clean. The staff is friendly and the rates are fair. What more can you ask for? read more
