I was lucky enough to have found Elated Canine just in time! Here I was with this working German Shepherd who came to me with no fears at 10 weeks old. He had a dog walker the first year which wasn't ideal but got us through. Malachi then tried a ' daycare' for a very short time. Well..... needless to say, there was an incident , and I now had a scared one year old. He and I continued to train through the summer months. Prior to returning to work in the fall, I contacted Jocelyn and we met in person. She was kind, professional, and was certainly knowledgeable about canines. Jocelyn and I put a plan together for Malachi. This pup needed help with exposure, confidence building, and a place to go while I worked. Him staying in a crate all day was not an option. Malachi has now been with Jocelyn a little over two years. I am often ' blown away' at the dedication from her and the staff. Jocelyn and her staff have worked hard with Malachi all the while having patience and meeting him where he is at. Jocelyn has taken him to different places to expose him to people, places, and other dogs. She has taken him to his veterinary and just sat in the lobby working with him to overcome his fear when he has an appointment. She has taken him on what we like to call 'field trips' when she has felt it would benefit him with no fee. That's something you will not find elsewhere and shows the dedication and heart of this wonderful trainer. Jocelyn even learned a bit of German for him as his commands are given in German and he has been trained Schutzhund style. That's going beyond the call of duty! I have contacted Jocelyn the night before when I have needed to send Malachi on short notice and she has responded right away. Her response? No worries , drop him off. Malachi loves Jocelyn and his ' human girls' and he now has ' dog friends,' :) ! I don't know where I would be without Elated Canine. I know when he is there he is safe and well taken care of. I also know that he has structure and routine which he needs. Malachi has come so far and I couldn't be more pleased. Elated Canine has been outstanding in every possible way. Jocelyn has been instrumental in supporting not only Malachi ,but myself as I have raised this wonderful , beautiful , crazy, big hearted, working boy. Jocelyn and her team at Elated Canine are the best! I wouldn't trust my dog to anyone else! All of her staff are trained unlike most dog daycares and boarding facilities. Jocelyn has a wealth of knowledge and she adapts training based on the home environment, the parent's objectives for training and even considers the breed of the dog. She treats each of the dogs like family. She loves them all! She matches play groups of dogs based on energy, personalities, play styles and so much more. I mean I cannot say enough good things about this amazing owner, her business and her outstanding staff. I drive 40 minutes because she is that amazing! I don't know anyone or any business who treats their pets as family like this business does. I would give them ten stars if that was a rating!!! They are always willing to help you with any issues you maybe facing at home with your pet. They build a strong foundation with your dog but they also make sure to teach the pet parents how to follow through with the training she has taught the dogs. We took in a rescue pup that needed training beyond my experience. I was stressed, overwhelmed and questioning if our family was the right fit for this little guy. I found Jocelyn online and signed up for the puppy class with she and Morgan. I instantly fell in love with the two of them and their training methods. I came to elated canine with my German shepherd pup after having worked with a handful of trainers that could not help us with the issues we were experiencing. We adopted a puppy last year after our dog passed away suddenly. Not realizing our last dog was the exception and not the rule we realized quickly we'd need some help with training!!! Jocelyn and her team are wonderful! We do the day training program with our recent adopted puppy, and it's been such a great way to expose him to other people, dogs, and environments/scenarios than what he would experience just in our immediate care. Jocelyn has been a huge help with both of my dogs! Our first dog is a bluetick hound, he is a high energy boy with a nose that will take him anywhere it wants. We were so nervous to let him off leash. The best thing we could have done was reach out to Jocelyn! After a handful of at home training sessions with her, our dog was/ is off leash. We worked on obedience and use of an E-collar, which Jocelyn helped us (and Colt) feel comfortable with. We are so thankful for all of Jocelyn's help and couldn't have done it without her. read more

I almost didn't keep my dog. Jocelyn took the time to train her and then taught us how to handle the situation and use the skills She learned. The result of Jocelyn's experience in training allowed us to keep her. She's not perfect and still needs work ( she's part Husky -the training will never end ) but she's so much better behaved now. When I got my puppy, I wanted her trained to the educator collar and I brought her to Jocelyn. I received daily videos of her train sessions so I could see her progress.
