She told me she would contact me in a day or two, but instead she decided to break the confidentiality agreement that I was supposed to be protected under and contacted the other parties attorney and disclosed my name and intentions for taking the case to court because of signatures being forged, signed off by the other attorney (she admitted that she knew of him in the initial consultation, but I didn't know she was going to overlook the law protecting the lawyer/client confidentiality agreement in the process). It's definitely connecting dots between attorneys and the county clerks who are swindling so many people. Be careful with the attorney you are dealing with giving your information to.

It would not be an exaggeration to say Virginia and her staff saved my father-in-law's life. We…read morewere referred to Virginia due to my ailing father-in-law. This was an incredibly trying time and when we first went to court for guardianship the judge was getting ready to dismiss it when Virginia stepped in and the judge granted an extension with a court ordered medical evaluation. By the time we went back to court with all the evidence we were going to need, the judge again was trying to push for a power of attorney instead of guardianship/conservatorship. Virginia again stepped up and reminded the judge of the urgency of this case and the judge finally awarded the guardianship. I cannot say how nice it has been to not be as concerned knowing my father-in-law is being looked after and cared for due to Virginia's hard work, dedication, and compassion. The tears I cried after the court case were such a relief. Thank you Virginia for your dedication and hard work in helping us help him.

This is an edited review…read more.. Out of 300+ reviews I have only given 27, 1-star ratings so I must think pretty poorly of a business to only give 1-star. Mr. Kogut is threatening to sue me for an honest review I wrote on Yelp about his handling of my case or the lack thereof. So, I'm forced to edit my review to avoid legal cost and harassment. NOT because anything I said was not true, but from my understanding, Mr. Kogut felt my review would hurt him fanatically and therefor it was actionable for him to sue me. I'm not a rich person and I don't need further turmoil in my life. I guess I do not have first amendment rights on Yelp as Mr. Kogut thinks it will hurt his business if I tell the truth. Let's just say I could have represented myself better and at far less cost and created less animosity between myself and the other party. Remember when hiring an attorney; they are REPRESENTING you.
