To get to the cinema you go up some neon-decorated escalators. Very flash! The foyer is pretty much what you expect of a cinema, with popcorn, ice cream etc available. From there we went up another escalator, with some interesting views of the inside of the dome. The 'screen' was a really nice room. The seats were a good size and pretty comfy with plenty of leg room and a drink holder. They did however suffer from a bit of vibration transference, so you knew when your neighbours were moving around! Sound was excellent without being deafening.

I found there to be more leg room than in normal Vue cinemas. Watch out though if you're driving, it says on the website that you can get free parking if you're going to the cinema, but then it doesn't tell you in which car parks when you arrive. We parked in a pay & display but were refused a refund.

Patient has assistance dog and I'd called to confirm this was appropriate. Staff member advised this was fine. Arrived and all staff were supportive and considerate and treated my patient respectfully and was extremely helpful throughout the visit. This enabled my patient do to something normal. The theaters are all pretty small - but comfortable, high quality projection and great sound. Ideally located next door to a Costa for your coffee and a Prezzo if you want to eat before or after. You can reserve your exact seat. The staff are really nice and friendly. For me as a Brit just returning to the good old Mother country I am amazed by the "unlimited" deal - 18 pounds - well 17.99 for unlimited movies for a month - what a deal!!!!!

They get all the big movies fresh - often beating the bigger Odeon theaters (like the one closer to us than Red Carpet. First thing that you see as you drive in towards the Red Carpet is the marina with dozens of canal boats that can be rented. On a nice sunny day - arrive early and stroll around enjoying the beauty, a little shopping perhaps? There is also a ice cream shop and two decent restaurants Talking of restaurants the Red Carpet has its own restaurant - I have posted a typical menu - there you can reserve a table for dinner before the show. Pricing is very reasonable with a pre noon price of £4.50 per adult. Only criticism of the cinema itself is the volume of the films could be slightly louder but maybe that's because the last film I saw was The Jungle Book and there was 2 unruly children in the next row! Cafe bar is nice, service is quite slow though and food average, I have only eaten here once but wouldn't rush back. I tend to order a glass of wine and take it into the cinema with me! Bliss!

That is, if you can get a ticket! From when I used to live near the area, it was always sold out. So, big seats for the basic seats, then even bigger and four sofas which still work out comparatively to regular cinema seats. But the food and drink are rather more upmarket ...... a china mug of coffee, or a glass of wine and some cake or nice ice-cream but all affordable unlike a regular cinema. This is truly an outing and worth it. And then there are the bathrooms - black and white tiles, with individual fresh cotton hand towels and ladies necessaries free of charge on the window sill. And nice hand cream. It is worth it just for the toilets! Staff are lovely and helpful.

During peak times it can be difficult to get in and out of the leisure park and sometimes difficult to find parking. However, it is convenient and saves us from having to drive further to find a cinema.

All screens are based on one floor, with the foyer area having two ticket desks at either end and a food and drinks island in the middle. There is an array of sofas, tables and chairs. Once you have had your ticket checked, there is a sweets counter and smaller food and drinks counters in the corridors although I have never seen these open. There is ample free car parking on site with a casino a stones throw away if you fancy a flutter and a branch of Chiquitos if you fancy a bite to eat. The staff here are friendly, and I have found the cinema quiet during the week in the late afternoon. If you sign up to Insider you will get to hear about advanced screenings, can enter exclusive competitions and you get discounted entry too - £5 admission on Sundays after 7pm and all day Monday and Tuesday.
