Established in 2013.

James started the business in 2013 after almost 10 years as an electrician serving the local area with other companies. "I had a desire to go beyond just being another number off the internet/in a book, to actually connect with what customers needs are and shape the business around that" We have built up an in depth relationship with many local contacts in the Private Rental Sector. Over this time, this has allowed us to niche down and really specialise our services to allow people to have more time, less calling and chasing for quotes/information and 'plain english' breakdowns of any works that are required. It's also allowed us to ensure that we provide the best possible service to customers in this industry, recently winning an award as 'Best Local Electrician 2018' in the Yorkshire & Humber Business Awards

Business owner for last 5 years, growing ElectricBlu Contractors to help customers in Wakefield and surrounding areas who have struggled with electricians in the past. It's kind of like a personal mission for me, to save people time whilst also trying to break down the often complex world of regulations and changes into more manageable chunks! I've been running the 'Electrician in Wakefield Blog' for a while now, keeping local customers updated on electrical regulations and free safety tips.
