In 15 years of driving, I've never been in a car accident. Not until about two weeks ago, when some dumb kid backed into the back of my Tacoma, leaving a big fat dent on my rear passenger side, and leaving a fat gash in the plastic part of my chrome bumper. Of course I immediately remembered the hell my roommate went through a few years ago with her insurance company, and then again with the auto body repair shop. It got so bad that she had to take the insurance company to court for failure to properly pay for the repairs to her Toyoda 4Runner. So I prepared myself for the worst. When the insurance adjuster told me to drop my car off at Arseen Auto Body on Monday morning, I looked up Arseen on google and saw that there were only 3 reviews, two good, one bad. I read the bad, and it sounded as if this person used google translate to write her review from god knows what language. The other two were short and sweet, so I decided to give Arseen the benefit of the doubt. Cut to Monday morning, I drove to Arseen and was greeted by a pleasant staff, and a short wait. They told me about the work they'll have to do, and informed me that if anything changes, they'll call me before making any decisions. Slash cut to Tuesday, they called me to let me know they wont have to replace anything, they can, if I want, just pop out the dent, and repaint it. Great. Then they told me they can either replace the whole bumper, or they could just replace the plastic piece on it, and then pay me 200.00 dollars. Wow. Great! There's nothing really wrong with the bumper anyway, just the plastic on top that had a gash in it. Awesome. Now with all this being said, they did tell me my truck would be ready Friday. It wasn't ready Friday, however, they told me the would pay the cost for my rental for the additional two days it'll take to finish my truck! Awesome! Come Monday, my truck still wasn't done, but I did get a text telling me I'll get a call soon. Well, the call never came Monday, so I ended up calling myself on Tuesday morning. My truck was done, and ready for pick up. While Monday and Tuesday were a little frustrating, the service, the work done on my truck, and the general non-issues I've experienced out weigh the delay in letting me know my truck is done, thus, 5 stars. If i ever need work on my truck again, the first place I'm going is Arseen Auto Body. Thanks guys. read more

I came to this repair shop because I was hit from the back and my bumper needs to be replaced. I arrived Arseen around 7.00 am to finish early and drive to my work. I thought that I may have to wait because they actually open at 7.30 am. I was surprised, they were open and Bill was more than happy to take me and have a look at my car. Bill is such a great guy with a friendly plus professional attitude. I left the repair shop with rental car before 7:30 am! They finished my car in two days, and when I went to pick it up I discovered a new scratch in the back that I did not notice before. They did the assessment & estimate on Monday. I needed a whole new bumper (special ordered parts and all) and it was ready for pick up on Wednesday! I had to bring my car in to get my bumper fixed after a hit and run (the guy was caught and had Geico insurance thankfully) and I had never been to this body shop before, but I must say the customer service and quality of the job done was outstanding from start to finish! It's usually such a hassle having to take your car in for repairs and to get a rental car, but having Geico insurance, who was handling the claim, and Enterprise rentals right there on-site made this so easy. I was in and out within a half hour, after dropping my car off, and the nice guy from Enterprise rentals hooked me up with a convertible BMW for my rental car! They communicated with me daily, via text messages, and provided a link where I could easily access the status of the repair online whenever I wanted. My car was ready on time and my bumper looked beautiful again. No sign that it was ever hit. Every person that I dealt with was friendly, helpful and beyond accommodating. I will certainly go back again if I ever need body work done again. I highly recommend this body shop if you ever need to have work done on your vehicle. I can't say enough good things about how great their service was and what a good job they did on my bumper! read more

I was unable to respond to other comment so I am writing a new one. I had excellent service the first time. I was in shock with CVOID, furloughs, layoffs, accidents and knee pain. I was never walked through or signed off on inspection prior to them taking vehicle. When got it back I did say that there was a dent in back before as well as back left, but there was a new scratch above. Also, I said there was a dent in driver door before, but a new scratch, what I was concerned about was the passenger door to which you stated "it is not my fault that I did not take good enough pictures to prove, but since you had these other dents we can't do anything about it." I had asked nicely about everything, I was only seeking clarification because I did not know. I asked if I needed to take pictures upon picking up, and was told no. I also picked up with an empty tank, I had thought it had been full, which I would have no issues whatsoever, my only concern was that I wanted to make it to gas station as I have very low mileage on my car. They were nice and gave me a couple gallons, but when I returned I was told that I said I had a full tank. I had remembered filling gas recently but it was on the rental not my car. I am human and again, was only seeking clarification. I was never aggressive, the responses and the manor to which my clarification requests were handled was very unprofessional and the fact that I was brought to tears in how I was treated speaks to how this happened. And on top of that, Now one week after leaving my initial review after being in shock and in tears leaving the place as I felt I was disrespected greatly when I was merely seeking clarification and understanding.....somehow in a locked/gated apartment complex, 5th floor, someone drilled holes in my gas tank to steal gas and it leaked all over...causing another police report, deductible and insurance claim to be filed. I find it odd that you have my address, model, make of car and that someone would go all the way to the 5th floor out of all the apartments and cars and specifically vandalize my car. I do not trust this place and will never return or recommend again. I thought Bill was very nice to begin and I understand everyone is under a lot of stress, but you need to be kind to people and always assume the best in others. Just because people ask questions, does not mean that they are negative or trying to do harm. THey are trying to seek understanding. Thank you for taking time to respond and I am sure this is a one off thing. I will continue to pray for all of your health, safety and success but I am really disheartened and disappointed in what went down. read more

I would NOT recommend Arseen for bodywork whatsoever. Unfortunately, I was in a rear end incident and after months of phone tag with Geico about fixing my vehicle they finally set up to get my car fixed. After a closer look at the final fix of my bumper, they didn't do a quality job. Part of the bumper isn't clipped on well and you can clearly see that there was little effort in repairing it. If you are going to get your vehicle fixed after an accident I would highly recommend going elsewhere and researching better shops in the area. read more

I went to Arseen because it's one of the shops that is part of Geico's Auto Xpress program. I brought my car in to have the front fender repaired. The entire process of dropping my car off and getting a rental car took about 45 minutes. It took them four work days to replace the fender. When I picked up my car, the plastic molding didn't sit flush, so Bill told me it might take a couple of weeks to reshape. After getting home, I noticed that there were two rips on the interior door panel and some of the plastic was scratched; probably from pulling off the panel. I called Bill and notified him, and he told me to bring it in and they'd fix it. I also called Geico so it'd be on record. After a couple weeks, I brought my car back. Bill told me they'd repair the rips and buff out the scratches, but the damage to the plastic ended up not being repairable and they ended up ordering a new one. I was again without a car for four days. After getting home, I noticed that the handle on my door was loose. The next morning I went back and Bill fixed it right there, which took about 10 minutes. All that said, for one fender replacement, I went in three times and was without my car for 8 days. Arseen's damage to my car cost me 2 1/2 hrs of driving time to drop off/pick up my car. Bill, the Arseen guy I worked with was really nice. What I didn't like was that I had to go back twice, and worse yet, no one mentioned there was damage to the interior. Did they hope I wouldn't notice? They did a good job painting and remounting the fender, and an OK job with the molding. Because I had to go back twice, them not telling me that they damaged my interior, and giving me my car back dirty on the inside, I would not go back and am giving them 2 stars. read more

My fiance brought her truck here a while ago and they did a great job for her too! We even had some extra parts that i have been wanting to put on the truck and they put them on for free. A couple weeks ago I was an idiot and got into a car accident in my wife's Audi. The front bumper, grille, and hood were basically toast. I was frustrated and angry that I now got to pay out of my own pocket to fix it too. Then along came Bill at Arseen Auto Body. Super nice guy to deal with, gave me a reasonable estimate, and promised basically a week for the turnaround time. They did a fantastic job on my car, kept me informed with pictures sent to my phone every few days of the progress, and finished right on schedule. When I picked the car up I saw that the paint job was high quality and the car was much cleaner than when I gave it to them. Walked in for an estimate at 10:30am and was asked which insurance company. When I told the receptionist I was gathering estimates, was told they only do walk-in estimates between 1pm-3pm. Guess they don't need the business. Update: wrote this in their parking lot and was approached by someone from he shop to explain why they only do estimates from 1-3. He told me most people call ahead to schedule a time, so he was trying to say it was my fault. He said they give estimates and people don't come back. Well, that's the cost of the business you're in and by restricting your hours reduces it even more. No stars would be better. Customer service skills are lacking and approaching someone in a confrontational manner doesn't help. read more

This place is a nightmare. I had to take my car back three times for the same repair and they still could not get it right. They were recommended by Progressive Insurance. Not only do they do poor work, they are slow and dishonest. I asked if my car was being repaired with OEM parts, their response was yes. After the third failed attempt, I contacted Progressive and requested that we begin with another body shop. Active Body Shop in Sunnyvale was the savior. After a nice and speedy repair job, they showed me the parts they had to replace. None of the parts were OEM parts, but after market junk. Arseen was not honest with me. In addition, Arseen cut and simply welded my exhaust system together where they should have used flanges. They also did not replace damaged parts. Save yourself a frustrating experience and use another body shop! read more

I'm still very unsatisfied with this place. I had to go back to them because of the paint damage. They tried to say it was already there and they never touched that side of the car, but they obviously had to when they were detailing it. They wanted to get away with what was there fault, but we had to argue it alot just to get it done. I had to leave my car there another four days just to get that fixed. Overall, it was not a great experience. This whole process took a month of my time. Alot of carelessness. read more

Fantastic customer service from the moment you walk in by receptionist who greets you till you pick up your car. Matthew was my rep and he kept me in the loop with things from day one with phone calls. I mentioned that I needed some mats for my car and had been unable to find them. He found them, so my car now has nice looking mats. This place is SO SO Bad. I am very disappointed at their service and level of professionism. Someone hit my Lexus hybrid SUV from behind, so I took my car in for an estimate as told by the insurance. One of their staff took a few pictures and then sent it to another person to write an estimate. The pictures did not reveal all the scraches on my rear bumper. The staff was so careless, even failed to notice any damages to a rubber piece beneath the bumper. The estimate came so low, less than half of an estimate done by another shop. I was recently rear-ended and the insurance company of the person who hit me suggested Arseen Auto Body and I am so glad they did! The representative from Arseen Lane Pizzo was really proactive and the very next day he called me and made me an appt for an estimate. He asked me if I needed a car and I did so he took care of the Enterprise car rental and my insurance to be covered. He called and emailed me when my car would be done and and they even have a web link with pictures so we can continually be informed of how the car repairing is going. I had a completely no hassle experience of having my car repaired and the work that was done was excellent and the customer service was amazing! And the cherry on top of the cake was when I picked up my car, they had washed, waxed and detailed it for no extra charge and I am now very happy to pass my great experience on to someone else looking for a great auto body shop. Here's my story.. I had my SUV fixed at Arseen on Oct 2014. The vehicle had an ugly long dent all along one side. Arseen did the body work to my satisfaction. A few months later someone warned us that our rear brake lights weren't working. Took it down to the neighborhood repair shop who couldn't figure out the cause - fuses, lamps, relays were all in order. Next took it to the dealer's service center and they couldn't nail it down either. They did however ask if the vehicle had been to a body shop. They figured it may have to do with an error in attaching the harnesses when the body work was done. I travel a lot and wasn't able to get back to Arseen until last week - Dec 2015 - a year and 2 months later! Arseen took the car in, gave me a free rental while they diagnosed the issue. 2 days later they found the issue - one of the wires had been pinched during the repair process. They fixed it free of cost and didn't charge me a dime for the rental either! Can you beat that?!! The manager there said, this is how they do things at Arseen. When they say "life time warranty" for their work, they really mean it! Numero Uno Arseen! Way to go!!! Highly recommended. read more

After my car was vandalized, broken window and scratches on the roof, my insurance company Progressive sent me to Arseen for repairs. The staff was nice but the repair works was lacking. The window was replaced but there was still broken glass on the seats and inside the seat belt buckles, rendering them useless, they refused to take them off and get the glass out. The scratches on the roof were still visible, even when I picked it up the fist time I complained and still left unhappy. I bought it back a second time after telling my insurance company and the paint job was much better, but still no working back seat buckles. There was also a heavy amount of buffing polish in the crevices, it looked like a lazy clean up. I won't be coming back here. read more

Upon picking up my finished car, I found that the car was in better condition finished than when I brought it in - I have never seen a car looking like showroom condition both inside and outside after being in a body shop until now. I recently took in my 2007 Honda Accord for some body work on the passenger front side of my car. I had no idea to use since I live in SF and work in SJ. Esurance recommended a body shop who they have a relationship with and they happened to be (5) minutes from my office. I could not believe what a professional and friendly body shop I saw. At that moment I realized that I did not need to find another estimate because this place just "felt right". Their estimate was fair, they even posted pictures of the daily work on a web page and completed the work on time. They also made sure Enterprise took care of me on getting my rental set-up. When I saw the repaired car it looked better then the day I took it off the Honda lot. I would recommend this place to everyone and in fact my company uses their services for our service vans. We have been to Arseens twice now. The first time for some minor dents an they did a great job. The second time was a little odder. Our dealer, Oak Tree Mazda refused to repair our car lock (latch inside the car came loose and fell into the car door) under warranty because we had work done on the car. This had nothing to do with the work/dents that were repaired but they still wormed their way our of doing the work under the warranty. The cost was just 150$ to screw the latch inside the door back on, so we ate the cost and Oak Tree Mazda lost a repeat customer. We then called Arseens, Matthew Solimanpour had us bring the car in. They looked at it, they called and spoke with Oak Mazda Mazda. Mazda kept changing the description of what was wrong with the car and kept saying the work was out of warranty. Matthew offered to just reimburse us the cost just to keep us happy. Frankly we were not even upset. But we were impressed with their service. read more

these guys suck! must I explain. why not. My progressive rep suggested this place, and to be honest I was too lazy to find one on my own. I took it in this place thinking that I would be a satisfied customer, but man I was wrong. I got rear ended, but minimal damage to the car. Here the things that they screwed up on: -glass pieces all over (had to replace my back window) -they broke the board that I had my amps on (i customized my trunk, which took a week to do) -gave me the wrong color tail light bulbs (they gave me orange instead of red) -emblems were silver instead of red DO NOT GO TO THESE LOSERS. I was referred to Arseen by my auto insurance company, so I made an appointment and dropped off my car before work. They have early morning drop off hours -- very convenient for commuters. The experience was seamless. It literally is a one stop shop, as the insurance adjustor and car rental agent are located in the shop. I was able to drop off my car and get the rental all at once. I spoke with Bill regarding the damages to my car, and he was very attentive and handled the whole process from start to finish. I know I was pretty anxious about the whole ordeal, but Bill was patient with my questions. I received daily email updates so that I was aware of the progress of my vehicle's repairs. The work was finished at the promised time and when I picked up the car it looked great! The color matched perfectly and the trunk was fully functional again. Also, they detailed the car prior to pick up, so it looks better than it has done in ages. I was recommended to Arseen by both my Insurance Company and a friend who had their Mercedes repaired by Arseen. I couldn't be happier with the results! With over $12,000 in damages to my Lincoln MKS, I was sure my car would never be the same. When I picked up my car, I couldn't believe the finished job. They PERFECTLY matched my paint color, which was a real challenge because it was one of those finishes that changes color depending on the angle you look at it. All the gaps were factory measured, and the fit and finish was spot on! They even had my car detailed, making it look better than when I first bought it. Manny and Matt were so professional, and treated my car as if it was their own. I was constantly updated along the way, and they delivered my car on the date promised, too! I came to know of Arseen Auto Body as someone hit my sister's car and their insurance (Geico) told us to take the car there. That worked out OK. Since first experience was positive, I decided to to call them to take another car there for repairs. In this case, Insurance was not "direct" with Arseen. I called Arseen and the lady who answered the phone said that I needed to have my insurance company assign the claim to them so they could work on it. Called insurance and had the claim assigned. Called Arseen back and they said they could not find the claim. I asked them if they could call insurance directly (I had already given them claim number), that will make it easy and direct. Lady took insurance company number and told me they would call insurance and then call me back to schedule the car. When I did not hear back from Arseen for couple of hours, I called back and this time, I was told to go pound sand. The woman who answered the phone told me that Arseen DOES NOT call insurance companies and that it was my problem to call them. Insurance company tells me that they have sent the assignment, Arseen says they do not have it and Arseen say they will not call insurance. Really nice way of earning business. I guess they don't care as they are in bed with Geico (multiple Geico adjusters on site) and really do not care about other customers. (This all happened on 7/2/2018) read more

Geico sent me here and I was a little concerned - my Mazda CX5 is only a year old - not only was the repair done in 2 days (and you can't tell there was ever ANYTHING damaged) but I was treated courteously and professionally every step of the way. The Geico representative was incredible and efficient-the estimate was fast and fair-the rental car through Enterprise was set up and waiting. As a woman, I had concerns about how I would be treated, but it was a VERY pleasant experience. The waiting area is huge and clean and every single person involved was amazing!
