I went to Linda for about three months. From day one she would ask me to post my opinion on Yelp to give her a good review. I would not until I had spent enough time to know if her treatments worked. She was always pushing me to see her more than once a week which of course got quite expensive. When I questioned her why when she finished a treatment and some of the hairs were still there, especially black ones that I had specifically asked her to remove, she became angry. Her not removing the hairs had happened before. She does not like being questioned and told me to leave and not come back. This turned into a blessing for me because I went to another electrolysist who uses a newer machine, does the work much quicker, and for much less money for those reasons. What it would take Linda1-hr to do, she can do in 15-minutes. Instead of paying $105/treatment I am paying $40-50. The newer machine is more efficient. Linda's service has been absolutely life changing. I'm turning 29 this year and for the last 15 years I've struggled with PCOS, and Hirsutism on my face. I spent hundreds of dollars on at home IPL lasers, hundreds on laser treatments, and nothing worked. I was plucking and shaving multiple times a day, hiding behind makeup and got to a point where I said enough is enough. I have gone here for quite a while, after laser failed to get rid of my blonde hair (that I didn't even know I had until afterwards). As other reviewers note, she only accepts cash or check, and is very punctual. She is also extremely professional, and offers services other than just hair removal. It is a little expensive, but after going to someone cheaper...well, just remember, you get what you pay for. Linda uses new equipment, which causes less pain, quicker recovery, and most importantly, less chance of scarring. That last one is well worth the money. Plus, she's super nice! Hey yelp friends, it's me with an update about electrolysis by Linda, I got really busy and was unable to see her for a while, but one session with Ms Linda and all caught up. She works at a steady pace. And just to let you know with Ms. Linda I do not need numbing cream. Her equipment is up to date. There will be discomfort by it's not anything like what I had expected. She's easy to feel comfortable around. Unfortunately I'm planning a move out of state, but Ms Linda didn't get upset, rather she help me find some electrolysis in the area that I plan to move, and see even cut out of one of here directory book, let me update it, and then did and excellent job on my area that needed the electrolysis. I was so tired of plucking chin hairs for years that I finally researched laser hair removal and electrolysis. I opted for permanent hair removal, which you can only get with electrolysis. I found Linda on Yelp and made an appointment! Linda is very knowledgeable and honest, which as a patient is very reassuring. She explained to me how electrolysis works and approximately how many months she thought it would take for the treatment to eradicate all my hair. Everything she told me would happen did occur. It's not a cheap treatment, but well worth it in my opinion, especially when dealing with a skilled, honest professional as herself. Electrolysis, can be a bit painful depending on where your treatment is. Linda, is wonderful at knowing what your pain threshold is and making sure you are comfortable. Her office is very clean. She is always on time (not like going to a doctor's office where you have to wait). I have spent 10 months seeing her (roughly, a total of 8 hours) and am almost done with my treatment. I look forward to my visits with her. She is a very pleasant and very personable. I am so glad that I found her and would recommend her to everyone! Over the years I started getting chin hairs. I would pluck one and it seemed like two more would come back in its place. I sought local establishments and came upon Linda. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. She deals primarily through text message which is fine with me and only takes cash or check. The services are a bit pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. In addition, I wasn't quite sure how long this sort of treatment should take as it took a little over a year to complete the removal. When about 7 months of those treatments didn't work, I decided to go back to electrolysis and very glad I did. Linda is very professional, punctual, and her office is clean.
