Worst customer service ever! Avoid this business at all costs. Poor (if any) communication; poor record keeping; had expensive clock repaired and stored and they actually lost the clock! I think they sold it. They claimed it was my problem even though I had paperwork that they had taken the clock into their possession for repair! We had a very bad experience with this shop as well. We bought a beer stein there and they gave a good price 50% off. They brought it to our attention that we can't return the stein because it was on sale. Understandable. But 5 minutes after we left the store, we discovered that the paint came of on the stein. I had red hands only from holding the stein. So we went back to the store and brought the issue to the lady's attention but she refused to take action. It was obvious that she knows about the issue, but she didn't mentioned anything to as before we bought the stein. Very bad customer service. Be careful and watch what you buy. Beware!!! read more

Fantastic, the beautiful mantel clock that I inherited (35 - 40 years old from Germany) had never been serviced and Elegance in Time made it like new. Twice! I met Nikki at the Old World Village store location in Huntington Beach soon after I was gifted the clock and explained the struggle with winding it. She immediately knew the mechanisms needed oil and servicing for safety reasons and to function properly once again. The craftsman did a fabulous job and the clock was perfect. Ten days into my bliss, I had carpenters in my home and the mantel clock was knocked into a table and onto the floor breaking off a brass leg, the back door and the pendulum. I immediately phoned Nikki who again was awesome to work with, and I brought it in once again. The clock went back to the shop in Orange where the service is performed and it was fixed and like new again. The charge was so minimal, I insisted I more than double it as a tip of gratitude to all the wonderful staff. Elaine is at the Orange shop and was very helpful too when I was in the area and opted to pick it up there the second time. I have spoken to a few people about my stellar experiences here and another friend had an antique elephant clock serviced with Nikki and was also 100% pleased with his total experience and the work done. I absolutely recommend them and most definately will take my clock here for every service in the future. Thank you Nikki, you're an expert in timepieces, a sweetheart and a savior. Worst customer service we have ever experienced in our entire life. In August we took our Howard Miller wall clock in to be serviced. 3 months repair time Nikki told us. After 4 1/2 months my wife said you better call them. I called and Nikki said it just arrived from our city of Orange store/repair shop this morning! I had no reason to think the clock would suffer any damage while it was in their care as they were authorized repair dealer according to manufacture. After we arrived home we noticed it had two (2) inch long scratches on the side of cabinet and there was a scratch on the face of the clock next to a screw that holds the face secure as if when it was tightened the screwdriver slipped. We contacted Nikki and she said bring it in. We arrived at Huntington Beach store and Nikki said since it was repaired at their city of Orange location the owner was there and we could take it there directly and speak to owner. We arrived at Orange store went inside asked for owner and said Nikki sent us over. The owner, Crista, an older lady, screamed (she really did), WHO CARES? I'm not dealing with Nikki's problem! Owner looked at scratch on cabinet and yelled at my wife that we are evil people, an argument ensued and owner ordered us to take our clock and get out of her store. Also, mechanically the clock is hard to wind now even after it stops. If you value your clock you will avoid this business. read more
