This place brings back a lot of memories for me. I've been to dances,christenings, weddings, celebration of life there. It's now under new management. No alcohol. I wasn't sure on the service, and had doubts up-until the big day. I continuously use to phone and ask questions, guess I was worried about everything. I didn't want to pay the money a week before the event, but was told payment is always taken in advance, the management kept assuring that everything would be according to plan, even on the day I sent my family down to check-up on what's happening in terms of my set-up as I ordered hall, stage, linen, chair covers, table deco, crockery and waiters. I'm so happy to say that it was amazing, a dream come true, I was SURPRISED with extras such as fresh flowers, a top table and complimentary drinks. All my friends and family loved and complimented the whole event. The credit goes to the young lady and her staff who together make it perfect in an extraordinary way. read more

I had one of my wedding functions here in September this year. I visited the owner a few times before the function. On one occasion when I visited the hall the Stage drapes were untidy and not ironed. I questioned this and was told by the owner that she always irons them and its just a mess because of the function they had the night before. She assured me everything would be up to scratch on the day. i phoned a few times after that as i was concerned and she reassured me all would be exactly how i wanted it. On the day when my family got to the hall 10 mins before the function was going to start the hall was a big mess. The hall was untidy the hover was not done and there was rubbish left around from the previous function. The chairs and tables were not set out as promised. My family had to clean up the hall themselves in a hurry before everyone arrived and set the table and chairs themselves. This is ridiculous and she promised that we could have the hall until midnight and on the day pressurised us to leave the hall after 11pm. This is not what one should experience for their wedding celebrations. I would not recommend this hall to anyone as it was a very special time for me and my family and instead of enjoying the moment they were stressed. read more
