Did a north fork wine tour threw this company and had a pretty terrible experience. Now the driver was very nice and professional however the rest of the experience was terrible. We paid $110 per person with tax and tip for transportation, 3 wineries, lunch, and a stop at a local farm on the way back all within 7 hrs. Now the driver picked us up on time but took the long way to the first winery. The Driver said it was to avoid traffic but both wazes and google maps showed that he went 15 min out of the way. From other reviews it appears this is common with this company. Now the three wineries we went to we didnt get to pick and were packed. It seems this company has deals set up with duckwalk, lenz, and pugliese for tastings. Winery's were decent but like i said packed. Nowwwww for lunch they said we would get sandwiches....i literally got 4" of the smallest Italian sub ive ever seen. Even subway would have been better. Their was also no other options besides Italian so my wife who doesn't eat Italian heros didnt get to eat. It also came with a cheese and crackers platter which was average. As we left we didnt get to go to a local farm stand because the driver didnt wanna hit traffic. Once again waze and google maps stated 80 min to get home. However he again to weird side roades and took 105 min...... So for wine tours id recommend looking else where. read more

I used this company for my wedding. Unfortunately, the woman on the phone had a DISGUSTING attitude from the very beginning. She was very aggressive for no absolute reason and seemed to think we were trying to scam HER lol. The drivers were EXCELLENT, very friendly, attentive and on time. I would not recommend anyone to use them ONLY because of this employee who answers the phone. It is a very unpleasant representation of the business especially since the service itself/drivers were so great. read more

We did a Long Island wine tour and had a fantastic time. Charlie our driver arrived early and showed me all the controls in the car. Then we even had a dance party in the yard with him since some of the people in our party were late. Charlie still managed to get us to the first vineyard for a super fast tasting even though we were almost an hour behind schedule (again because of girls in our party). It's also true that the sandwich isn't much to eat but the vegetable platter they provided was huge and delicious and very filling. I'd recommend bringing some extra food or snacks if you think the sandwich won't be enough. Charlie also made sure to get plenty of pictures of all of us. He was super knowledgeable and overall we all had a fantastic time! read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Used elegant limousine for my friends wedding so the bridal party could get from the church to the venue. I left my card with the gift on the bus. When I called about it the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and HUNG UP on me! I had to call her back twice just to take down my number to call me if they "found" the gift. This company is extremely efficient, reliable and friendly. From the first phone call, to the end of the night, they all have been amazing. I can not thank Gene enough for all of his hard work. Not satisfied with this company. They refuse to refund our money after cancelling trip in adequate advance. The person we spoke to was rude and did not seem to care much for her customers, and this is the owner Raquel pretty sad only said it is the "Policy" I saw nothing in booking trip or on website about cancellation policy. I do not plan on traveling anytime soon and they will only credit toward another trip. I went ahead and filed a complaint against them as well. This was a horrible wine tour experience! The limo driver took the long route to get to the first vineyard. It took us more than 3 hours to get there. We planned on going to three different vineyards and we ended up going to only two of them. On top of that, the limo driver kept asking us to pay an additional amount, either $15 or $30 to go to the third, last vineyard. During our wine tasting experience, the limo driver had the audacity to keep asking us to stop by an ATM to pay extra.......thus, he barely gave us the chance to enjoy our wine tasting experience. We took the Shriaz Wine Tour. Our driver Rainer was WONDERFUL! He went out of his way to make this a special day for us. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the food. We took this trip last year with another Limo company and their lunch was Gormet! And we were able to choose from a menu of sandwiches. Our lunch was terrible! I should note that the place we got married (the Bourne Mansion) had a very narrow driveway, and the driver did a great job maneuvering the large bus on the property. I planned the Shiraz Package for 11 girls. We had an amazing time. Major Pros: -Our limousine driver, Jeff, was absolutely phenomenal. He was consistently attentive and often obliged our requests, no matter how out of the way or difficult they were. -The limousine came fully stocked and was definitely conducive to a good time with room for the additional booze that we brought. -Again, the limo driver made the trip. **We Love Jeff Notes: -The wineries were quite good, though I have had better wine. I highly recommend skipping Vineyard 48 though and spending additional time at the three other wineries. The last stop was appealing for the dancing; however, if you are looking to enjoy the wine it was a bit too sloppy for our taste. I also found it surprising that I could only use the complimentary coins at the back bar, but had to push my way into the front bar once obtaining these to actually buy a bottle. The place was too packed and the bartender, quite rude and unapologetic. In the end though, I would definitely book with this company again, though I'd be a bit more selective with the wineries and would opt for the a la carte option. read more

We had a great first experience using Elegant Limos for transportation to a concert. The driver, Ray, picked us up early, was friendly and professional. Ray picked the scenic route to the beach, had a cooler of ice for drinks and showed us how to adjust the AC, Radio (which was working!). While we were in the concert, Ray noticed that the car battery wasn't working and the company sent out a replacement car, before the concert was over, so that this didn't impact our night out. We used Elegant Limousine for our wedding. The first thing that I did not like was when I called to book, they would not show me a contract until I paid a 200.00 deposit. This is the only vendor throughout my whole wedding planning process that requested this. I was nervous, but the woman on the phone said this is just how they operate and always have. Once I paid the deposit, I did get my contract. I was called a few days before the wedding for confirmation, which was helpful, since my mind was all over the place so close to the big day. I was told on the phone that once we are done with the limo, to have the groom pay the driver. A little old fashioned, but no problem. I was handling putting our remaining bills in envelopes, so I had the money. I figured once we were together, I would just give him the envelope to give the driver. We ordered a 20 person escalade. It was to pick up the groom and groomsmen at our house and bring them to the ceremony and then go to my parents house to pick up the ladies and bring us there as well. After the ceremony, we were all to get into the limo together and head to our reception. When the limo arrived to pick up my groom, there was some sand in the back (this was dead of winter, so probably snow plow gunk) and the inside of the limo looked a little worse for wear. We could deal though, since this was the best priced limo we found. Right away though, the driver said he needed the money right there, even though I was told to pay when we were done. So the limo driver drove my groom to the bank to take out money, which made the limo late picking us up and therefore late to our ceremony. Since the ceremony started late (which was the limo driver's fault), we ran 15 minutes over our allotted time with the limo. The driver approached my parents and told them they needed to pay an extra $180.00 late fee. They paid, not understanding the situation completely..... RIDICULOUS!!!! It was his fault we were late and the ceremony ran over!!!! My bridal party ordered my groom an I a town car to pick us up after the reception and bring us to our new house, as a surprise gift. This was very nice, and the driver for the town car was nothing less than professional. He was very nice and we had a little chat on the way back. He knew when to just let my groom and I be together in quiet and when to give us some caring newlywed advice. He is the only reason I am giving 2 stars, he deserves 5! He also helped us bring our gifts and leftovers to our front door!! I wish I remembered his name. He and his wife had recently celebrated a big wedding anniversary. Overall, I would not recommend this company to other brides, they are sticklers for time... even when it is their fault! It was the only thing all day that upset me. Booked a limo for a bachelor party. We spent the night in NYC for dinner and some bars. The limo, which was a Lincoln Navigator was very nice. The staff when I booked was very professional and explained all the details. The driver (Eric) was great. His friendly attitude really made the night. PLEASE READ!!! I used Elegant for my wedding in the middle of September. Overall, my experience was not good, I would not recommend them, and I would NEVER use them again. We rented one party bus to drive the Bride to the ceremony and then take the whole bridal party to the reception. We had no issues with part of the service, and in fact, the driver was very pleasant and did a great job at getting us to our destination on time. I also used Elegant as a shuttle service for my guests from the hotel we booked to the reception and back. We used two coach buses for this service. I had no negative reports from the beginning of the evening, other than one driver would not let some guests on the bus with a drink. However, after the reception, the negative reports came rolling in, from many different guests, independent of one another. At the end of our reception at 11:00 PM, we had one of the coach buses scheduled to shuttle our guests from the venue to the hotel. Although I do not know when that first bus arrived, I do know that at about 11:05 the driver closed the doors and would not allow any more guests on. The bus held 56 people and there were roughly 10 on board. There were approximately 15-20 more guests waiting outside, who had taken a few minutes to say good bye to my wife and I, who were trying to board and actually BANGING on the door for the driver to let them in. Mind you, the bus was still PARKED in front of the venue, not pulling away or anything like that. The driver simply refused to open the doors and departed the venue about two minutes after this incident. After this incident, the guests who were left off the bus made their way back in to the venue and found seats while others made their way to after party. At approximately 12:30, the first bus, along with a second, returned to the venue to collect the remaining guests. As 12:30 neared, the buses were set to leave as my wife and I were exchanging a few last goodbye's with some of our remaining guests. We had planned on getting on the second of the two buses and returning to the hotel with everyone. As we were finishing our goodbye's, our driver demanded that we get on the bus or it was going to leave. Previously, I had been told by Elegant, that a price was set for overtime hours so we did not need to worry if we were running late. I was willing to pay this price so I did not have to rush my guests out, but was not even given a chance to offer it. My wife then tried to enter the bus with a glass of champagne and was told she could not enter with any alcohol. This was the bride (which had to have been obvious at this point). I thought this was a pretty silly thing to say, especially since Elegant had stocked our bus on the way with champagne and glasses. When I came home from our honeymoon, I contacted Elegant to let them know about my experience. At first I was told that they would handle it in house. Then I was told that since there were no issues with my other drivers, and that technically I received the service I paid for, there was nothing more they could do. I told them that I was really unhappy that after such a great day and night, my guests had to leave with a bad taste in their mouths because of the transportation! I know Elegant offers a very good price, and yes, some of their service was great, but overall, I would pay a few extra dollars for more professionalism and courtesy in the end. read more

I booked an SUV Limo for my daughter Rachel's Sweet Sixteen. We went into Manhattan for dinner with 10 of her friends. Our driver, Gene, was great....very professional. He arrived well before the time booked and got us to the reservation on time, even though we we late leaving! The kids had a great time in the limo and I was truly appreciative of how safe we felt the entire time. Driving other people's children into the city was quite nerve "racking" for me, but the drive in was relaxing and without worry. Our limo driver, Ed L, specifically made the day extra special and I would HIGHLY recommend requesting him. The tour included three wineries and a lunch, alcohol in the limo was also included. Ed was the kindest and most attentive driver. He treated us like family and knew exactly what we needed when we needed it. The limo was clean and the drive was smooth! Ed took care of every detail and was a great photographer for our party! He took us to Briarmere farm stand so we could pick up some treats on the way home too!
