Monday was my day off (10/09/2023) I waited all day for wifey to get home from work so we could go get our pedicures done. I called at 4pm to see if they could accept 3 walk-in pedi's. Guy on the phone said yes, so we headed over there. I arrived at 4:22pm...We walked inside only to have the guy with a horrible attitude (same guy who answered the phone). That they didn't have time to accept us in. Granted, they close at 7pm, and it was 4:22... He had a very bad attitude, like his $hit didn't stink and he didn't really feel like working. So I explained to him, that I had just called at 4pm and he had said that he could take us in. He told me in his rude attitude voice, "well you should have showed up when you called!" How the hell was I supposed to do that? I live on the North side of the 60 freeway, it takes a bit to get to you... Either way, we walked out and went up the street to Professional Nail, Next to the walmart. Better customer service, and better pricing too. My mother in law has actually recommended Elegant Nails to me for a long time now, so I finally gave in and made an appt with Tammy, who is her nail tech there. I called in to see if Tammy was available for a same day appointment, but I called just 3-4 hours before closing, and she was unfortunately (for me) booked the rest of the evening. I was able to make an appt the next day at 5:30. I walked in and she sat me immediately and started working on my acrylics. I picked a color in the process. She took a total of maybe 45 minutes to get it done and charged me less than $28 for a fill which was a really good deal compared to other local salons. They closed at 7, and I told her I wanted to make an eyebrow appt but she insisted she had time to do them after my nails. They looked absolutely gorgeous after and for less than $10?? Another steal! Loved Tammy so much I made an appt with her for both my nails and brows for two weeks put. I can't wait to be serviced by her again. Friendly and very talented! read more

Due to Covid, my husband and I had to find a new nail place. We were pretty attached to our last one. We went there for 10+ years. We live in the area of Mira Loma so thought we would start trying out local nail shops. So I followed everyone's advice and made an appointment for my husband and myself. My husband got Stacy. He absolutely loves her! We now go every 2 weeks religiously. He enjoys making all of the ladies laugh. I have even started to bring my 71 year mother here and they take such good care of her nail needs. I am so glad that we have found our new nail place and it's close to home. Stacey is amazing! One of the most professional ive ever been to and having moved around as much as I have, I can tell you that I've been to many places. Their location is clean and organized. It is not a brand new location. If you're looking for a fancy looking location, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for quality service, expereienced technicians and a clean location then this is definitely the place for you. They offer many services and the staff is efficient and friendly. I don't like to do reviews after the 1st vist because a first experience might not give you a full picture so I can tell you that my review is based on multiple visits both pre and post covid. Obviously many things have changed post covid, the most difficult one being that you now need to make an appointment.. walk ins is not always realistic any more and if you do walk in, they're busy working on clients which makes it hard for them to stop and give you their full attention. I love this little place! They are by appointment only but I was able to call and schedule a same day appointment for later in the afternoon. They take your temperature and make you wash your hands when you first walk in. They also have you sign a COVID release form saying you don't have any symptoms and that you are aware of the risks of being in public. They also require everyone to wear a mask and even have some for sale if you need to buy one. They have sneeze guards so you won't be in contact with the technicians. I also witnessed them thoroughly clean each chair after each customer left! To help prevent infection, they charge an extra dollar for your own file and buffer, and they give it to you when you leave. Along with all of their precautions, my pedicure and gel manicure were great!! I will definitely return when they reopen again! read more

Worst place to do your nails EVER!!! I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years and I have never once asked for my money back until I went to this place. They didn't wash my dirty cuticle Bowl they just emptied it out and put it right back into the drawer with the clean stuff, so if you end up with nail fungus you probably know why cuz they don't clean their stuff. And my polish isn't all the way on my nail you could still see the tip of all my nails and there is gray all over my cuticles and my fingers and gloss all over my cuticles and my fingers and there is bubbles on three of my nails there's also residue from the nail polish I had before so you can see the ugly blue nail polish I had on prior to getting my nails done. Still horrible. I came back, today being my second time. I only ONLY came back bcuz this is the nail shop my mother visits and I agreed to come bcuz she said that the shop is under new management. My first time back (7/31/15) My mom was told to wait for the Peron she preferred to do her pedi, but after waiting quite a bit of time, she said she'd be OK with anybody. She did not do a good job. The gel went to my cuticles and looked plain messy. So I told Stacy that I'm not paying for the gel. She rolled her eyes, called the nail lady over & said she can fix it. But I still said no - I wasn't going to waste more of my Saturday. So I paid $16 for my fill. Stacy didn't apologize or ask me to return at a time convenient to me to get it fixed.
