Here's what our feedback was to the establishment since they asked, and I decided to share here in case it's helpful to anyone thinking about going here: "The overall experience was disappointing and did not meet the standards expected of a professional wellness or spa environment. The walk between buildings felt awkward and disjointed, and the areas where services were provided were visibly unclean. This immediately detracted from the sense of calm and comfort that clients typically seek when booking spa services. The sauna instructions were overly complicated and nonintuitive. Rather than supporting a seamless, stress-free experience, the setup required unnecessary effort and attention at a time when guests should be able to arrive, decompress, and enjoy the service. One of the facials was particularly concerning. The provider fell out of her chair during the session, left the room for approximately 15 minutes within the allotted service time, and complained openly about missing supplies that had not been ordered. Her presentation and behavior appeared impaired or otherwise not fully attentive, which was alarming in a setting where professionalism, focus, and client safety are expected. There were also sanitation concerns. Gloves were not worn during the sessions- in particular extractions & close facial work, which raised hygiene and safety questions. Given the nature of skincare treatments and direct contact with facial areas, adherence to clear sanitation protocols is critical. Both facials were performed below expected standards. Product application felt careless rather than intentional for both clients. Creams were applied in a manner that resulted in product entering the nostril area for both clients. In one instance, the technician had to awkwardly clean the inside of a nostril during the service, which was unexpected and uncomfortable (and something never experienced prior). In the other facial, cream entered the nostril and remained there throughout the session, creating concern about inhalation; the client ultimately had to clean it out herself after the session. This experience was distracting and far from relaxing. Additionally, massage and sculpting techniques reflected a noticeable lack of refinement and training, particularly for clients accustomed to higher-quality services. Overall, the experience lacked attentiveness, professionalism, cleanliness, and the level of care expected in a premium setting."

On my first visit, multiple staff members watched me to see how much I would tip, and on my third visit, the therapist outright demanded more than I was willing to give. I had hoped these were isolated incidents, but after checking reviews, I realized this is a pattern--they have a reputation for pressuring customers for tips. Tipping should be a choice, not an obligation. For the price, I expect better service and professionalism.

I had never heard of this place before and was in the area so it seemed convenient with late hours on a Sunday night. I made my appointment for 5 PM and walked in around 4:50 PM. A therapist came out and offer to start working on me right away, there was slight confusion as he asked me if I wanted a 45 minute service and I had to repeat that I bought a ClassPass for 60 minutes. He seemed OK with that and I told him that I really just wanted to focus on my back and feet. So he did 30 minutes on my back and 30 minutes on my feet. It's true what everyone says, this place is not fancy and it is not a spa by any means. It is one large room and everyone can see everyone else and you are completely clothed for the whole massage. Sometimes you do just want a quick fix without the frills and this exactly check that box. I will say that the place smelled like a slightly moldy basement. It wasn't strong enough to really disturb me, but it might for some that are sensitive to smells. The bed was very comfortable and I felt myself starting to relax a tiny bit one I lay down. There was also a ton of talking in the room. The 2 therapists working on other clients were having full blown conversations around me, at times animated. Since it was all in a language that I didn't understand, it luckily did not bother me much either. My therapist was fantastic and didn't talk at all which I appreciated. I only had to tell him one time to adjust the pressure and it was an excellent back massage. I could feel the knots and he gently worked through them and since I had my clothes on the pressure wasn't deep enough to make bruises, which again this might be a turn off for some. The foot massage was incredible and dare I say magical. This was the part of the massage that I relaxed so deeply and felt my anxiety slowly ebb away. I was having mild anxiety for over 24 hours and this massage helped it go away completely. There was an oil used and at the end was wiped off with some wet towels. There was a timer for you so that you knew exactly how much time was spent. The therapist was professional the whole time. I'd be back if I was in the area!

I agreed, expecting a similar level of service. Instead, the massage was consistently painful and not therapeutic for the full two hours. It never improved, and it was easily the worst massage I've had. Afterward, I asked about rebooking with my original therapist and was told they weren't sure if she would be back. When I got home, I checked the website and saw she is no longer there. I was also told they had called me the day before about the change, but I never received any call or message. Had I been properly notified, I would have rescheduled. This experience felt very misleading and far below the standard I had previously experienced here. I will not be returning.

If there is a blockage in certain areas, the pendulum will not swing. After treatment she goes back and rejects the blocked areas. In my experience, those areas were now unblocked. I like their selection of services, they seem to do a lot of scalp massages/treatments, and I will definitely go there to try it out as I have never done something like this. The name of the business is now called CJ CI SPA. I have no idea what the abbreviations stand for, but it hardly matters right now. On the wall in the shop, the price for a table shower is ten dollars more. I did not get photos on this visit, but I wish I had. The brown single chairs have been removed. A big white Santini Futon has replaced the brown solo chairs. I sat there for a while thinking about some questions for the new business, but never got the chance to ask them. A lady appeared after working on a client. She said down next to me and typed out a message in Mandarin. She obviously did not speak a word of English or she did not feel comfortable speaking the English language yet. The lady (whose name I found out is Lilian) informed me she still had 30 minutes left with her client before I could get my massage. Apparently she and her partner were both engaged in massaging their clientele. I informed Lilian I would call for an appointment. Lilian seemed happier with this answer. I got the feeling appointments the better way to go than walkins. Jin Foot Spa is no more. According to Google Review, the place is permanently closed. My next review will be the new name of this business if Yelp doesn't make the changes I informed them about. My experience on this new place will be coming soon.
