This is a wonderful shop with gorgeous furniture! They specialize in Mission Oak and Craftsman pieces and have high end pieces rarely found, especially so many all in one shop together. I love this type of furniture, so I enjoy looking around, but the prices are high. I found a couple of Mission Oak footstools I would have loved to have bought, but they were in the $400-500 range - for a simple footstool. Granted, not easy to find and in good shape, but that was more than I was willing to pay. Shop is located in St. Joseph, which is traditionally a wealthy area (Whirlpool Corporation is here, so be sure to notice the who-needs-a-house-that-big mansions along the lakeshore if you drive by). St. Joseph is a tourist and summer home area for people with money. The furniture here is desirable, beautiful, and hard to find. Those factors create high prices that others can and will pay. As for we middle class types, we continue to rummage out of the way antiques shops in hopes of a lucky find. read more

I stopped in with a friend prior to a show we were going to see...we came in at 6:45, show starts at 7:30. It was busy, but we were able to get a table with 5 minutes (the bar was full, otherwise we would've just sat there). We got sat, waited 5 minutes for the server...when he came we ordered drinks and asked if it would take long to get apps. We ordered the poutine and there hummus plate, and the apps were out before our drinks even made it to the table!!! We were happy with both drinks and the food. Prices were super fair--not the expensive "Chicago prices" we would've expected (we live in Indiana) and the prices were about the same (perhaps even slightly less for the area we live in and typically pay). Had a rockin time here. Lots of interesting pieces of all kinds and something for everyone and every price range. Make sure to check out Marvin (older gentleman with a moustache) and his vintage advertisements. He sells for great prices and is super friendly. I was visiting from out of town and it was for sure a highlight of the trip! read more

Found a beautiful Mexican art piece and got some background on the item. Spent about an hour just looking at all the cool stuff. It's a must stop in when you are in st Joseph. I also found a Dooney and Bourke leather purse for my gf. read more

This store had a lot of neat antiques and I agree with other reviewers that some were pretty costly. They had little signs all over the place about not sitting on furniture, asking for help with certain things, or just general information about the item, which I found to be pretty interesting. The store had a lot of room to grow as everything was spaced out with plenty of room to walk. (I'm used to antique stores that cram so much in that you have to be careful about where your purse is on your body so you don't accidentally knock something over!) One person in our group ended up leaving with a book but the rest of us left empty handed. read more

This store has evolved a lot since my last review. It is less like an antique shop and more like an antique mall. The presence of different dealers is much more apparent. The selection is also a bit different. They have much more than furniture available now, but they still have great furniture and this is the place to come if you're looking for that. Some of the dealers have high prices, some, not so high. It just depends on the booth owner... I still love it. It's a great store! read more

This store has SO MUCH beautiful furniture. Lots of Arts & Crafts, which is my personal favorite. Has a section of vintage clothes at the back with loads of shoes. A fun store to look around whether you're looking to buy or browse, you will be impressed when you go in here. Great store. read more
