They give you the idea that you can sell your products back to them at the end of the semester, but when it comes down to it they will refuse to give you any money back. As a study abroad student in Florence I thought it was an amazing deal that the store would let me buy a curling iron and then return it at the end of the semester for a refund. That was not the case. The store owners are rude and hostile and aren't reasonable when you try to return your item. In addition, all of the hair appliances I bought there were crap. Paolo refuses to answer my emails from Denver, CO. He mailed Murano glass hanging lamp to me in Denver, CO, USA, and it was packed so poorly that between the Italian postal service and the US postal service, the lamp arrived broken in several pieces. I can't find out if he mailed it insured. I can't figure out how to file an international postal claim. And I'm out $300-plus dollars. read more

Agreeing with everyone else .. if I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. Completely unprofessional scam artists.. do not go there!! Bought a straightener at the beginning of the semester and was told I was guaranteed if I "kept the receipt" I would get at least half of my money back for the purchase (mind you it was a €70 straightener). I went to return it with the receipt and they told me I waited too last minute and it was nearly "impossible" for them to give me my money back before I left Florence. They ended up offering me €10 for a €70 straightener that was in perfect condition and could have been sold as brand new. He never even looked in the box?? I could have snapped the straightener in half and they would have given me €10 for it. Moral of the story... completely avoid this at all costs. There are definitely more professional and reasonably priced straighteners elsewhere. P.s: the straightener sucked too!! read more
