But with Susan, I've grown comfortable enough over the years because of her kind, gentle nature, to be able to ask for her thoughts and feelings about events and paths that I'm unsure about. I feel she genuinely cares about me and my life, and while there are occasionally times my resistance comes up (I've been working on this issue), I've found that the times I've allowed her thoughts and suggestions to guide me, my life has moved more smoothly, and more often than not, in the direction that ended up best for me. I even paid extra to have my caterers provide a space for her with a table and a schedule for the girls to visit with her. She cancelled three days prior to the event in a very short text message with no other explanation other than she was currently under the weather and wont be attending. Now with everything else I'm doing I have to re-plan and re-budget for the several hour time block I have allotted for her just DAYS before the event. This is unprofessional and has really put me out. I am disappointed and angry at the waste of time and money. I will NEVER be working with her again. I suggest caution in booking her for events.
