I moved to NC a year ago and I needed to find a new hairdresser. Thankfully, I found Kayleigh at Elevation Hair Studio and all I can say is, she is amazing! I received two hair cuts from her within the last six months and even though I had only met her once, she remembered everything we had talked about! Very personable and knows what you want even when you don't know! The salon itself is very clean and modern. They also sell a bunch of products so that way you can keep up with your hair care at home! All of the staff is friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend! read more

I have had the pleasure of having Kayleigh work on my hair four times so far and every time she has been wondwerful. Her patience to hear my concerns about my color, her knowledge of how to actually follow through shows afterward, her personality is one that makes it easy to feel comfortable with too. I highly recommend visiting Elevation Salon, the ladies there make you look fantastic! The prices are very reasonable (huge plus), the quality of the products such as Redken hair color and the ability to listen and understand your hair needs is a huge win when I come here! I went to Angel on a tip from a friend, she did such a great job! I had hair issues for over a year, turns out I have build-up from using well water. Thanks to Angel, all it took was using a clarifying shampoo and I was back to normal. Angel also did our 'wedding hair' for a wedding I was in back in July 2012. The salon was very clean and everyone was following the safety standards set forth for COVID. After the cut, it was styled/loosely curled. However, the haircut was awful. I didn't realize until I got home and washed my hair how uneven my haircut was. Very disappointed. read more

I've been going to Elevation Hair Studio for over 4 years and it keeps getting better. I have thin fine hair and like to color it. Catherine makes sure my hair is in the best condition and I've never had any breakage. Honestly, I'm disappointed to be writing such a terrible review for the this salon but after today's experience combined with a previous experience I feel that I need to. I've been going to this salon for the past year and each time I request Kayleigh for my stylist. She has always been pleasant until these last two times I've booked an appointment with her. The first time she double booked my appointment Kayleigh left me waiting without an explanation as to what was going on even after the receptionist notified her that she had an appointment. Kayleigh seemed to be unapologetic about the whole situation until the very end when I was paying and stated that "it will never happen again". Fast forward a few months later to my next appointment with Kayleigh... I checked in with the receptionist and told her I had an appointment with Kayleigh. The receptionist then went to tell her and said I could have a seat as I waited for Kayleigh to bring me back. A couple minutes later, Kayleigh appeared only to acknowledge the client sitting next to me and asked if she had an appointment with her today. The client replied in saying that she in fact did have an appointment with her but never got a text for confirmation. Kayleigh (still not acknowledging me) asked the client if she was only doing a root touch up, which ended up being the case. I then had to interrupt the conversation by telling Kayleigh I was here for her 10am appointment for today. She then replied with something like "yeah, I know". Kayleigh'a other client that was also double booked offered to go second but I had to excuse myself from the salon in order to not make a scene. This was the SECOND and LAST time I was double booked by Kayleigh. As I said before, I'm all for giving someone a second chance. However, this was the second time in a row that this has happened and both times Kayleigh has been extremely unapologetic for her mistake! read more
