Sam Calhoun, Pastor, guides a service opened by professional worship musicians Chuck and Laurie Lewis. Christ Followers and Fence Sitters alike are welcome at WHCC, with the church offering several Bible Studies and Classes, amid childcare and many other resources. The church has several community connections for families in need. It is my personal desire to return to Windsor Hills soon, with my scheduling and all. We have visited Windsor Hills Community Church 3 times so far. We are not sure if Windsor Hills Community Church is the one we will be attending but it is definitely one that needs to be considered by anyone new to Christianity or that have been a Christian for a while and are looking for a new location for whatever reason. Windsor Hills is the only church of the three we have visited that I have felt compelled to write a review about. Positives: Pastor Sam is well grounded in the Bible and provides thought stimulate sermons that are both interesting and easy to lesson too. It is in a turnaround church so do not expect to be lost in a crowd as this has just started this process. However there are enough people attending to give it a warm ambiance. There is a real mixture of ages and races attending which surprised and pleased us. The people are friendly and we have been greeted warmly each time we have attended. The Praise Band provides a time for prayer and praise to our Lord though lifting our voices to Him in song. Cons: My back ground is Independent Christian Church and I feel more comfortable in communion every Sunday. They hold communion monthly and not weekly. While weekly communion is not Biblical requirement, I prefer celebrating what the Lord has done for me each week through celebrating commuion. Overall, I think it is a church that anyone in the area that is looking should attend a few times and some of you will decide it is the church you want to call home. Other than my church in Indianapolis (hahaha) you don't find friendly smiles and a warm welcome at the door! We attended the 11am service as it was good. The day we went, Bishop Joel Trout was the speaker and it was DYNAMIC!!! They have a praise team (which I'm not used to because we still have good ole Praise and Testimony service on Sundays). Secondly the services are dry if you've been to one then that's all you need, nothing changes. Third I've never met a pastor to almost flaunt his likeness of lying and stealing, that was new I guess. There's ways to make yourself approachable and that was not the appropriate one. Lastly for now they're waiting on a lawsuit to happen when they use people's picture for advertising without permission. If my child's picture was going to be posted around the neighborhood on everyone's door I'd wanna have a say. If schools need permission shouldn't Movement? If they were bringing something new and true to the table they wouldn't struggle growing as any organization.

Our Pastor is humble, honest, and speaks the message with a truth and grace that I appreciate more than anyone will know. Each Sunday's message has been inspiring, challenging, hopeful, thoughtful, and Truth. My daughter loves AWANA on Wednesday night while I go to the adult Bible study that is offered at the same time. The Bible Study leader is amazing. I have learned so much, more importantly I have also been able to apply the things I have learned there to my every day life.
