I guess the one star is for how nice Ellie was. I had no idea what microblading was and was asked by my friend to join her as HER friend was Ellie's student. I absolutely hated how I looked!!! I called Ellie crying. She said don't touch them but after my entire family laughed at my very dark 3x thicker eyebrows, I tried to wash it away. The color calmed down after about 10 days but then I had this weird shadow. I thought it was bc I washed them. I went back to Ellie (NOT a student) and she touched them twice. I paid good money and here I am 6 months later with this weird bluish shadow on top of my original eyebrows. A few weeks ago, I saw a close friend and noticed how nice and full her eyebrows looked. OMG!!! I thought she had some procedure done where her actual eyebrow hair grew. I got the info from her and just had mine done again last week from Snazzy Brows. I love my new thicker fuller eyebrows!!Naz took almost 20 minutes just drawing them. Whereas Ellie completed the entire procedure in that time. Do your homework!! Reminder that yelp can be written up by friends. Also I would definitely ignore all comments posted by students unless you're a student. I am ONLY posting this bc this is YOUR FACE. I had a terrible experience. I came to her with vitiligo and she promised she can help and that abe had a lot of experience. She charged me $1400 and she clearly doesn't know what she was doing! She actually aggravated my skin condition and made it worse and the permanent makeup came right off. If I could give this place a ZERO I would. This Is the first negative review I have ever wrote on the internet in my entire life. On Saturday October 24, I went to elham and asked for a simple camouflage tattoo test on my minor problem areas and she convinced me to undertake these techniques that were supposed to work magic( including micro blading) Now weeks later I have burn scars on both arms, discoloration on my stomach/sides and not a single sign of ink on my eyebrows. I have had one visit with an urgent care doctor for my burns within the first 48 hours, and also a dermatologist M.D a week afterwards. I was lucky that I went in on time to the urgent care to receive a proper antibiotic ointment because the one Elham suggested over the phone ( according to the doctor) was making my burns worse. In addition, both doctors were of the opinion that her treatment has burned and damaged my skin. Not only these scars have inflicted physical damage, but they have lowered my confidence and caused me mental distress. You get into these places in hopes to look better, or at least the same. NOT worse! I can no longer wear short sleeves in public. Also I'm even afraid of going to the beach anymore. I feel embarrassed to wear a swimming suit with the dark marks on my stomach and sides that were a side effect of her treatment. I can't even wear a simple T- shirt. When attempting to confront her several times, she immediately got on the defense and took zero responsibility. This lady has no shame or integrity. Doesn't even try to acknowledge what she did to me. She would take forever to respond when I would show her my oozing burns in pictures. Also kept postponing my visits to see her again. She ended up blocking my number until I left a review on her Instagram. THEN she decided to unblock me and respond. Seriously? On top of all these disappointments, She manipulated me regarding the cost of the treatments. The way she explained to me made me think that each area costs $100. I asked for three areas (arms, sides/stomach, eyebrows), which would sum to $300 total. ( she said stomach/sides count as one) However, after my treatment she charged me $110.00 meaning $100 per piece. (5)sunspots (2)brows, scars on stomach(1) sides(2). (1)My vaccine scar on my arm which she zapped without me even asking for it! And $10 for the aftercare cream that she said is mandatory. I understand that this pricing might be standard in this business, but the problem is the way she conducted herself giving me the wrong impression and untimely forcing me to pay something extremely out of my budget AFTER the treatments were done. It's like going to the hair salon, and the stylist tells you the cost is $30 dollars. But at the end they say it's actually $30 per hair strand. Thats insane! During the session she was asking me lots of questions like where I'm from or if I have family here( in my head I was thinking it's small talk) but now I'm thinking she thought she could take advantage of me. Words could not explain how unsatisfied and unhappy I am with the outcome. Please do not take trust in her service, paid Instagram followers and fake posts. She is a con artist! If I could give her a million stars I WOULD! Eli completely changed my life. I spent two years and so much money looking for someone who can lighten my scars. People would tell me to give up that it's impossible to change skin ! Well here is your answer ! Eli can change texture and color !!! I went for consultation to Eliot Beauty and she recommended 6 sessions of micro-needling to enhance texture of my skin and stimulates collagen production to help reduce Acne scars and hyperpigmentation. So far I have used three of my sessions and I have to report a noticeable difference and vast improvement in the appearance of acne scars after a treatment. The one star is for Eliot's generosity, but I'm going to give my full honest review since these are procedures done on your face !!!! Invest in it but find their right person to do so. I found her page on instagram and her work looked amazing so that's what made me want to book with her. I got my brows micro bladed , camouflage tattoo for dark under eyes & lip blush done by her. ( This is my review after 1 year ) .. My brows are ok , I'm not a fan of the color as it's too dark and the shape of my brows aren't even . I wanted my brows to look like twins but they look like step sisters, if I didn't go to the right person to thread them then I don't think I'll be ok with my brow shape. I would give my brows 5/10, since I can still fill them in & make it look decent. Camouflage tattoo (concealer TATT) for dark under eyes was my worst mistake , I shouldn't have let anyone work around my eyes that isn't a dr . It left beige lines & dots of pigment around my eye , mind you I have dark circles ... so yes it looks like I didn't wipe off my concealer all the way . SUCH A REGRET . She was willing to fix it but since the TATT was "forever " according to her , I decided not to mess with it since there's a chance it might look worst ... & It's permanent so I rather get a TCA under eye peel from a dermatologist to get rid of it or At least attempt to. Remember ladies , if you want anything done around your eyes it's best to go to a Dr. Learn from my mistake don't ever try to mess with your dark circles with a permanent solution that may not give promising results or an outcome u may not be satisfied with. But having lines of pigment around your eyes isn't cute !!!!!! I did get a second opinion by someone else & they said " they just use too much pigment in those areas and it just needs to be touched up with the proper color " which makes sense because it didn't seem like the proper color was used on me. so I would give it 0/10. Lastly going on to the lip blush ! I have gotten lip blush done before by someone else & the results lasted me 2 years & that's when I decided to get it done with Eliot after it faded ... I got a few few sessions with her & I didn't see a huge difference, just a slight difference which obviously didn't meet my expectations because it wasn't what I wanted since I barely saw it .... when my previous results was apparent ..... so I left it alone .. so I would give it 1/10 . I waited to write a review because I wanted to see if with time the permanent pigment on my eye goes away which it didn't . I spend a lot of money and I really didn't feel like I got my moneys worth.
