My friend was getting a gel manicure, and I was getting a regular pedicure. The timing was a bit off as they started on her first despite gel curing much faster compared to regular polish. Additionally, I had selected the citrus treatment for my pedicure so a little bit more of a process - my friend ended up having to wait for my service to complete as it took significantly longer. I love that they have a huge menu for their pedicures. The different sets each come with an adorable tray with your fixings and some fresh flowers. I think this is really special and makes you feel pampered. Price for a dip powder mani and a citrus pedicure came out to ~$80, which I think was reasonable. I was a little disappointed by the quality of the actual pedicure itself - definitely have had cleaner lines and consistent color throughout the nail, instead of varying layers. The foot massage was more of a light leg rub. You can see some of the corners are not filled in all the way, some of the nails you can see where she cut one layer short on top of another and though it's hard to see in the picture, there are a couple of lumps in the polish so it looks sloppy up close. Fortunately it's on my feet so I don't have to look at them that closely. I do think that I possibly got a less careful technician and, if I were a local, I would give this spot another try with a different technician as I can see in other photos, some of the work is definitely tidier than what I had! Additionally my friends powder mani came out fine. That's why I am still giving this place four stars because I think the pedicure treatments go the extra mile and, there are probably more detail oriented technicians available. Plus I wasn't expecting to get a half decent nail salon in Raeford so that was a pleasant surprise! Another thing to note for covid conscious folks, I would say true mask wearing for staff is about half and half. Where some folks either did not have a mask or had it covering their mouth only. Most patrons were wearing masks but a couple people who came in did not have one and were not asked to put one on. Hand washing is not required upon entry. Proof of vaccination not required upon entry.

I'm new in town I relocated here from TX I went in for a fill at Eva's nail bar I've never been…read morehere before but decided to try a new salon, the first picture of the white French tips were my nails from the day before I went in for my fill from a different nail salon. The guy doing my nails asked me if I wanted them shorter I told him slightly but not much shorter because I liked the length I had as you can see my nails are over half of the length they were before which was the first issue. When doing my French I showed him a picture of a deep French tip nail when he did my French it was very crooked and uneven and just looked horrible when I asked him if he could redo it and showed him the picture of how I wanted it, when I was explaining how I wanted it he cut me off and was like "OK OK" in a very rude manner he redid it and put it under the light and I pointed out how crooked it was and he filed it off and ended up having another lady do my French tip. The lady who did my French did a good job and she was actually very kind. However even with the French tip part being pretty the rest of the nails just look awful. My nails are WAY too thick and bulky bc of that they look very unflattering. When he was applying my acrylic he was rushing it and rushing the filing he was also very rough when doing all of this, I didn't notice until after I left the salon but I have gaps underneath all of my nails it looks like a weeks worth of nail grow out not like I just got a fill. Some of my nails are crooked and the shape is not good at all it's not even and some of the nails aren't filed correctly which I once again didn't notice until after I left the salon. After a few hours I decided to call back the salon which I usually don't do but my nails looked AWFUL, I told her the issue with the nails having gaps and she offered for me to come back in and fix them I told her I was unable to because of work and that I wouldn't be able to come back for another week due to work she told me to send her pictures of my nails which I did she then offered me a 10$ discount off my next set (mind you this set costed me a little over 70$ and they look horrible) and then told me that next time I need to say something before I leave even after me telling her I didn't notice the gaps and uneven nails until AFTER leaving the salon. She also told me to tell them to paint the color closer to the cuticle next time which I have NEVER heard of and I have been getting my nails done for years because who wants to pay for nails that look grown out?? I asked for a 10-20$ refund not even a full refund because I don't feel comfortable paying for another set from here after the way my nails came out this time and I haven't heard anything back. I found out my friend also went here to get her nails done and had a very similar experience. From my experience i will not be returning and for anyone wanting to go here I would say save your money and go somewhere else.
