You see, for as long as I can remember I've had a secret love for old-fashioned photo booths. There is something romantic that happens when the velvet curtain slides closed. While there is only a curtain between you and the bustling crowd outside you're instantly and briefly in private, sharing a few fleeting moments with your lover or friends while your best improv act jumps up and you become a sillier, sexier, funnier you. Photo booths have a tendency to capture the candid moments between those silly/sexy/funny scenes and have truly captured a moment that would have otherwise disappeared into the ether. Capture[INC]'s updated digital version is just as fun. They incorporate a interchangeable background, bright ring-light and a sleek metal button. The attendant hits the big metal button and as each instant is captured it is displayed on an LCD inside for you to see while it snaps another frame for you. They've also equipped the outside of the booth with an LCD that displays a real-time slide show of that events photos, taken just minutes before. It's a hilarious to check out towards the end of the evening and you can watch the progression of the evening through the photos humor and emotion. Our close friends rented a Pod for their wedding this past weekend and it was a blast. Photo Booth + Open Bar = GOOD TIMES! Some of the older folks didn't know what was happening and it was obvious that a few people didn't realize that they would be part of that live slide show for the rest of the wedding to see. This Saturday our son turned 8. We were so far behind on our preparations, (we make our own cakes and decorations) that when Danya arrived, we hadn't even showered. She told us not to worry to go get ready. Not only did she greet guest and set up the appetizers, she created appetizers from our pantry and refrigerator! Our main course was warmed up and displayed amazingly! She had her son with her and it was his first event, he was incredible, professional and resourceful! Everyone comment how wonderful they were and some guest even thought she was family the way she moved around in our kitchen, which by the way was left spotless!
