We used Elite Landscaping to do extensive work on the patio and outdoor kitchen. We had many issues with the quality of installation and overall project oversight. Two years later, I had them repair low-voltage lighting units that had failed. We were invoiced $340 for two low-voltage LCD step units. Their supplier, SiteOne, retail catalog price of about $170 before any contractor discounts were applied. Bottom line - Elite Coastal markup on materials is about double the retail price. read more

elite landscaping is a terrible company to have a fence installed. First you can't understand any of the workers. Workers are arrogant. The fence I got I had to reinforce the gate post after a couple week. while reinforcing it I found that the concrete was 8 inches below the ground so I used 60 pounds of mixed concrete to bring it up to 2 inches from the ground. They tried to charge me for more fence than they put in. I will have to do the same on other posts. No one ever ask or cared if I was happy with the job. read more

I had a paver job completed off of my screened in porch November 2023, in June the pavers came up and I went by the office and spoke with Tina. She advised that she would create a work order and get the repair scheduled. The job is not very large and it has been 8 weeks and still no work order nor repair made! The ow er assured me that he stands behind his work and all his work came with a five year warranty. The reason he charges more is because his employees are trained and he has to pay insurances. My experience regarding this small repair is not looking like the integrity that was promised when the work was done less than eight months ago! I just had Elite build a patio, add pavers around the house, trees and plants. They did a fantastic job! I got 3 quotes and they were in the ballpark. The designer was a pleasure to work with. They showed up on time and completed and job despite poor weather conditions. I would certainly hire them again if I have other projects. read more

No follow up. They were happy to come out the day after they completed the project to get their money. I pointed out a few things and the owner said we will be back to address. Never heard from them after calling many times. You can still see where the tractor delivered the block. They said they would come back to fix but they pawned it off of the company that delivered it. They should have said to have the block delivered on the driveway. No communication. They said they would leave a few pavers in case I needed to replace one down the road. They never did. Two weeks later and one of the pavers started showing a red color. They said they would bring one but never did. So, I drove over an hour round trip to grab a couple. I brought them home and they were a match. Belguard was going to replace it for me. I went on a work trip and Elite did finally cone out to fix a draining issue. I was shocked. Well when they remove the pavers, they broke two of them and replaced them with the ones I drove over and hour to get. when I called up and ask when they going to bring me replacements, they said I could come back to get two other pavers. I said why would I do that when your guys broke them. This happened in May and still nothing. I would never do business with them. They are not trustworth! This is the worst service I have ever experienced. There is not enough space to list all of the issues that we had. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They altered our project without our permission, they doubled their original estimate, they waited days before planting our palm trees (allowing them to dry out and ruin our lawn), they planted one palm trees in clay (allowing it to get water-locked and rot), they verbally confirmed a request (which was already stated in the original proposal) and will turn around and ignore that request. I cannot express how terrible they were. They refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and won't even respond back regarding the ruined landscaping. Hired at the end of February, they did not start my yard until the end of May. Hired non-experienced help to install drains, topsoil, sod, mulch and shrubs. Drains did not drain and my yard flooded, half dead sod laid in scraps and patchwork, and ran out of sod and had to wait for them to return. Makes zero sense since I asked if they traveled to areas that are even further and I was told they did. Used them in July 2017 to install sprinkler system and landscaping stone,which they did a good job. Sprinkler system,poor job. To start off with they cut my cable line and main water line twice. Three sprinkler heads were too high of which I damaged one ( not paying attention). Spoke to the owners wife twice and was told both times "he is on a big commercial job and don't know when he will be available." I spoke to her again at the beginning of this week (3/19/18) and she said that she doesn't know when he can look at the lawn and has to decide if he will charge me to lower the heads. He uses his son and his friends to do the work, they need more experience to do this type of work. Company is unreliable, don't stand behind their work. Don't use them !! read more

Hired to correct drainage/soggy soil along the fence line of my property in June 2017. Job not started until August . When they came to start, I found out that the person I discussed the job with, got fired. The owner, Andrew, started giving crew direction on what to do. It was not what I agreed to with the ex-employee. He told them to go ahead with his direction regardless. Crew started work on digging drainage ditch, which was supposed to be 75'. (Note: They shorted me on drain length and had to add approx 5' to it on Day #2 of job) Crew caused damage to my front lawn. Soil was wet and the traffic of their wheelbarrows going from front yard to side yard tore up sections of my front lawn. Drains did not solve problem. They pieced together patches of sod on the front lawn they damaged. They caused additional damage to my side bed also (that I told them wasn't in original plan). They couldn't even properly replant my original plantings. They were held in ground with mulch. I had them take it all out. They left it a wet muddy mess. POOR QUALITY work. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes. I had to take them to small claims court to try to get my money back. I did recover a portion of the $1800 FIASCO!! Drainage work is way out of their skill set! read more

Reliable company and reasonably price but would only recommend for simple jobs. They installed synthetic sod in our small backyard and laid pieces in a patchwork pattern with both vertical and horizontal seams which are very noticeable. Instead of laying one continuous piece of turf in an area sized 50 by 10 feet, they cut the turf into 7 pieces. read more
