They finished our two story home in just three days and the transformation is incredible. Their prep work was detailed, they patched cracks and even fixed a hole left by old satellite dishes. The team was professional, tidy, and left our house looking brand new. Highly recommend if you want reliable painters who take pride in their work. The first day was all preparation. They power washed the house and driveway, taped off windows and trim, and patched cracks and damaged stucco. Their attention to detail gave me confidence they knew exactly what they were doing. I also asked them to remove two old satellite dishes. The previous installers left a hole in the attic screen and Edgar's crew sealed and patched it so nothing could get in. They handled this extra task without fuss and left the area secure and neat. Throughout the project the crew worked efficiently but never rushed. They left the property cleaner than they found it and the fresh paint has completely changed the look of our home. What once looked faded and worn now looks crisp, bright, and well cared for. When THEY finished, we were left with unpainted interior walls, window trim repairs undone and/or unpainted, and mismatched paint color on stucco repair saying they had not quoted the full project as discussed. We paid a premium thinking it was a comprehensive coordinated project. Review the quote carefully to ensure the service you discussed is what was actually quoted. He did what was in quote (outdoor trim and very minor stucco repair), but not what we walked through and discussed. We will need to hire another professional to finish the job.

Every single day they cleaned up and organized their tools in one location so our home stayed as livable as possible. I was leery because of all the horror stories you hear about contractors but George absolutely delivered - above and beyond the expectations he set. I had a few prices and Gastelum was not the cheapest but definitely not the highest. Right about the middle of the road from a cost perspective. But, the service and quality are top notch. The crew (4 guys Monday, including George - 2 guys Tuesday and half day Wednesday) knocked out the job in half the time they committed to AND had the house cleaned up and shiny by mid day Wednesday. Initially, they said they'd be done Friday. Very impressive speed! And the quality, it's amazing how clean the lines are, there's no drips on the walls or drips in the floor. The house looks brand new again after only 2 days! The crew was great and while there was some small talk, they were here to work and they crushed it. George offered a good price, and he was very personable. His communication skills are excellent. He was always available when I called and texted him. The day before the project, he made sure to confirm the paint color and sheen that I wanted. It's always nice getting confirmation before a project starts, because it puts myself as the homeowner, at ease knowing that a contractor will show up when they say they will. I've had contractors in the past not show up when they were supposed to, and I'm glad I did not have this experience with George. Like George stated, they were there right at 7:00 a.m., and got straight to prepping the garage so that paint would not get on the garage door and opener, which are new, and to make sure the floor was protected. George primed the walls and ceiling, and then applied two coats of the paint color I wanted. I also wanted the plumbing painted so that it kind of hid where the pipes were. Before, those plumbing pipes were an eyesore, and now they are less noticeable.There was untreated wood exposed in the garage, and George recommended having it primed with wood primer and then painted because the wood kept absorbing the paint. It was an additional charge, but it was not a significant charge. I took his recommendation because I trusted him, and I am glad that I did. The wood looks a lot better and matches with the walls and ceiling. George and his crew finished in about 5 hours. The paint job was very clean, and him and his crew left the area clean as well. The photos I provided show the paint right after they finished painting, which is why you see wet spots in the photos. If you want to hire someone who is reliable, offers a good price, and does a good job, George is your man. It is also a plus that he is a very nice person and is genuine in wanting to make sure that himself and the customer is happy with the work.
