Perhaps they are reviewing a different company there with the name Eye Design Eyewear. The business in Ormond Beach Florida does not use that name anymore, and Yelp should adjust its site accordingly.

Dr. Cady is nothing special and his assistant immediately became hostile towards me when I questioned what my insurance covered. She was aggressive and refused to even look up the information to verify what I was saying. It was unbelievable and although he didn't see how nasty she was he still condoned it when I alerted him of her hostility. They lost 4 patients today. I highly recommend avoiding this office if time is of value to you and you want quality contact fitting procedures.

Of course for convenience I got a estimate to replace my lenses with the new script. Th price was off the charts and I would be without my glasses for 4 weeks. Decided to shop around. Thank god. Went to vision one. They were so nice replaced frames and glasses for a third of the price and had them ready in a week. When I tried them on my vision was worse than my old ones. I said you made them wrong. They check the script dr caddy wrote and said they matched perfectly. Told to go back to caddy and have him recheck. Which I did and he had wrote the wrong script. Rewrote new and went back to vision and they were nice enough to redo for no charge. That was in June 2022 I'm just glad he's not a commercial pilot. Never going to use this guy again.

Both the gentleman at the front and the receptionist (who barely would speak to me) were both unwelcoming and rude.When speaking with the gentleman to order my glasses when asked the basic question of what can I add on he waved around a list and wouldn't answer my question and when I asked to read it he shoved it at me and said "can you read this?!" And showed me the paper with the abbreated add ons. At that point I shut down and dont want to pay to add anything on, I'm not going to spend my money here. He was extremely rude to both my husband and I to the point where we both shocked and said something back to him at which point he apologized and he had to correct himself and take back what he said. After confirming my glasses we leave and as we are buckling our son in, he proceeds to follow us to the parking lot demanding I pay an 80 dollar bill that had not been disclosed before, never had to pay anything before the appointment and no one ever said anything until I left the building, so insane which is very unfortunate considering how great the dr is.

I bought glasses there for 15!! years In July 26 I bought a pair of clear glasses and a pair of sunglasses for over 1.100$. The new prescription of the eye doctor was simply wrong! Had to get the correct one from a different doctor. no refund or apology from the doctor. Lenses had flaws, imperfections etc. after 4 weeks of back and forth the sunglasses were OK. Max 10!! days after I received the sunglasses a screw fell out! I was told by Miss Gigi that the replacement screw will have a different color or I have to buy a complete new pair of glasses at FULL price. The clear ones we gave up on and got a refund. This store went from being good to the absolute worst possible.
