Person came for measurement and then never received estimate for the work. Promised estimate but never received.

My fence was blown by the heavy wind and rain a few nights ago here in Converse, TX. So, I looked on Yelp for a Reasonable & Professional Service that can repair my fence and to make it look like nothing has happened. Chis and Zach were AWESOME. They did a great job and it looks like it was built better than the original fence that was put up 2 years ago. I will be acquiring their services again for wood work inside of my house in order for us to sell our house in the future. They were very understanding with letting me watch them and to also answer my questions that I asked them. They were also precise, thorough and the fence is strong and secure. They were able to mimic/copy the same design of the original fence line for when it was originally designed. Chris and Zach did an amazing job putting my Wrought Iron fence back up after my pool was installed. They had to Jack hammer and excavate my old posts and install new ones in cement. After that Cris used his welding skills to put everything back together just like new. He made sure that a latch and spring was installed in accordance with the code to pass my pool inspection. These guys are extremely professional, highly skilled and detail oriented. The price was fair and the job was performed on time with clear communication. They responded almost immediately, asking for some pictures of the area that needed repair. They promptly sent over a quote and their availability for the next day. They were here on time and got straight to work. We needed repairs on outer wood fence and small part of interior wood fence. Called a repair for my mothers house. Her side gate was uneven and the latch was not closing. Called to get a quote and Chris was very quick in replying. Since I lived out of town we sent pictures for a quote. Chris was honest about the issue and pricing was fair compared to other places I called. He fixed the gate, gave us a better understanding after seeing in person and the gate properly closes. Only reason why I'm knocking off a star is due to the wood replaced not matching the rest of the fence. Was hoping the wood would match the rest of the fence. Elite wasn't the least expensive of the four estimates I received, but it was the only fencing company that had enough options for me to get the attractive, good-quality fence I wanted. I won't have to worry about rotting posts with my new square, black metal posts. The cedar planks will last longer than my old pine posts. The installation took two days just because the cement for the new posts needed time to set. I like the fact that this is a family-owned business and they give the old wood planks to a local man to reuse rather than taking them to the dump. Chris was wonderful to work with and didn't mind answering all of my questions. I love my new fence. read more

My electric gate wasn't closing properly due to a crack in the joint of the arm of the gate. I called Chris and within a few hours he came to my house identified the problem and fixed it. He was efficient, polite and charged a fair price for the work. He guarantees all of his work so if I have any concerns I can call him back at any time! Caution. After putting a request for a quote for a pretty small job (2 opposing gates) with pictures going unanswered for over a week, no answer when called, and even posting on their site Elite Fencing & Welding", they finally said on Facebook they never got a request (even though the comments in FB messenger were right above their FB message). So I reposted the request and pictures of the job requested. They then played the Facebook game by deleting my FB comment, added a potentially dishonest FB comment for others to see that they never got a request and to resend, and then blocked me from their site which makes it look like they were honest. That throws so many red flags for contract style work, and is a strong indicator of how they would warranty their work in my opinion once paid. I have had no interaction with this company other than this issue, so it is only based on my experience with this company and their Facebook and FB Messenger service. read more
