I am very disappointed that I cannot refer Rose Matchmaking due to the extremely unprofessional way that their business is handled. This was a very expensive mistake on my part to the tune of $5,000 for a six-month contract. I was introduced to Amber Neal via Events and Adventures in January 2015 and had a meeting with her in their Houston office. Amber explained to me that I would have a photo shoot, she would write a bio on me and then I would be matched to people through her busy database. I was pretty excited to start the process as I had just recently moved to Houston from the UK. During our meeting in the Events and Adventures office Amber explained to me that joining Events and Adventures would be a mistake and that I should sign up with her as she had more people on her database. To cut a long story short signing a contract with Amber was the biggest waste of money ever. For $5000 dollars during the six-month duration I was given the most unprofessional service I have ever experienced. The photo shoot was awful and lasted all of 5 minutes as the photographer had her 2 kids with her. The database that Amber talks about I don't believe exists as all the pictures that she sent me where selfies that looked like they had come from Tinder/Facebook. During our six-month contract I went on one date! The rest of the contract was filled with me chasing up Amber looking for an update as to what was happening and all I would get back from Amber would be I am still going through my Data Base. On 2 occasions when I did get a half decent profile and agreed on the date she would come back to me and say that the person had suddenly gone out of town so wouldn't be available. I called Events and Adventures about 3 months into the contract to ask for some advice on the situation and to see if I could transfer to them. The attitude from the lady in the Houston office was horrendous, she told me it was not her problem, she wouldn't let me speak to a Manager and then just hung up on me. The whole experience has been an absolute nightmare and I urge you not to sign up to Amber Neal or Events and Adventures. They are preying on people's emotions and ruthlessly taking hard earned money whilst making empty promises of a happy ever after.

Do NOT give them any money!…read more I purchased a background check $100 and Membership $225 which was a total of $325 from Cocktails or Coffee, a singles dating and social club. The owner promised to get back with me within a few days once the background check was complete. She also said she would send me a user login to log into their website and sign up for the singles events. I never heard from her again! Several emails and voice messages were sent to no avail!! No goods or services were ever received. When I went to their website, it appears as though it doesn't exist anymore!! This is illegal/unlawful, unethical, inhuman, disheartening, and unacceptable. I'm strongly considering filing a police report. Do not trust these people, especially the owner, Meagan! She is very deceiving and hasn't returned any of my emails, texts, or phone calls!
