It's with a heavy heart that I write this review. I highly recommend against hiring Elite Sanitation services. For the second time they have left a huge oil spills in my driveway from their truck. The first time less than a year ago they left a huge oil stain in my driveway and I asked them to please send some out to power wash the stain. They complied and sent a company out after 5 days to clean up the spill. I asked them not to pull their service truck in my driveway in the future. Again within the last two weeks they left another huge oil stain in my driveway. I called them immediately to report they had left another huge oil stain in my driveway and I asked they please send someone out to clean up the stain before my aggregate driveway could absorb the oil stain. The woman who handles the invoices and incoming calls ask that I send picture. I sent the pictures right way. I asked her when someone would come and power wash my driveway and she told me "my son will come and look at the stain the following day". Why did he need to look at the stains with I sent photos? The following day her son didn't show up and I called again and asked when someone would come out and clean the stain and the trailing oil stain and she assured me someone would be out over the weekend. No one showed up to clean the stain. The following week I had a neighbor power wash the stain and the stain would not come out. I called again and asked if someone would please come out and the woman who answers the phone stated "I told my son he needed to take care of the stain and she told me she would contact me one way or the other when she talked with her son. Two and 1/2 weeks have passed and I still haven't heard from Elite Sanitation and the stains remain. Unfortunately, I can't post the pic here but I've posted them in the neighborhood website. I really don't believe Elite intends to make rights of their wrong. This company does not operate with integrity. I highly recommend you not contract with this company. read more

We have been with Elite Sanitation for over 10 years and every year they get better and better with their excellent service, trucks and team members. Whenever we have had an issue with anything they are always quick to respond. The backdoor service they offer is fantastic and it is a real convenience to not to have to drag the garbage bins to and from the bottom of the driveway. Do not use a Elite Sanitation. Failure to communicate creates a failure in business. When I fired them from picking up our recycling, or lack of picking up our recycling, I should have dropped the trash service as well. The way they communicated to me that they don't take a trash bag with an old rug in it is just a leave it in the middle of my driveway. Done with the service and the sloppily manner in which things are handled. Their employees frequently left bits of trash behind - I don't know if it fell out of the truck or out of one of my bags. We were forced to find a new company when S&K Disposal, a mom and pop we'd used for years and loved, closed. Elite was one of the few services we found remaining who offered bi-weekly service AND would pick up in the driveway by the garage instead of making us drag the can curbside. But I have been consistently disappointed and aggravated and underwhelmed by Elite. They are irregular with their pick up days and times. They're rough and careless with the trash can. Even though they have trucks that can pick up the can and dump its contents into the truck, they have a worker reach in manually and toss the bags in the truck. And this leads to them being super picky and judgy about what they will take. It's not like I'm trying to sneak lead paint and car batteries in there but I will occasionally toss the rotted front porch pumpkin or mum or Amazon box and they are quick to pull that sucker out and leave it sitting in my driveway to greet me when I come home from work. I'm searching for a new company as we speak and will consider the steps rolling my can curbside just part of my new fitness routine. read more

Do not waste your time with this company. I've given them so many chances and they continue to let us down. 1. They regularly skip picking up my garbage and recycling 2. They removed their recycling except for cardboard and insist on charging the same price. 3. They rarely answer the phone or respond to voicemails. I have had times where I speak to a female who I believe handles their administrative tasks. She tells me that she is going to look into my complaint about my trash/recycling not being picked up but I never hear back from them after. 4. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the breaking point for us was that they have lied multiple times stating that they performed the trash/recycling pickup although our trash/recycling is still in the driveway and I have surveillance camera footage proving that they did not. This is unacceptable. This company requires more energy and effort on the customer's part to have their trash/recycling picked up than is necessary. They most definitely do not strive for customer delight even after given plenty of opportunities. read more

There aren't many great trash collection services but I would highly recommend against working with Elite Sanitation. I cancelled service with Elite for numerous reasons: 1) They removed their recycling of anything but cardboard and still insisted on charging the same amount. 2) Over a 6-month span, they only showed up on their scheduled pickup date for trash and/or recycling about 50% of the time. 3) They are very hard to get on the phone. I left 3 or 4 voicemails that were never returned. Now, it has been a month since I cancelled and they still have not picked up their trash container AND I still haven't received the refund check I was promised in early January. They open your bags and search through them as they are picking up, charge extra for no reason and call it excess trash, won't take many typical items that are garbage, don't show up some weeks and rarely answer phone. You are better off finding another company that will simply pick up your trash once a week with no issues. read more

This company is so accommodating! They have even come back when I have forgotten to take the trash out on time. We have never had any issues with them in 5 years. I find the negative reviews hard to believe. I definitely recommend Elite Sanitation. They are professional, and so kind. Our neighbors use them as well. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! STAY AWAY!!! They raised the prices and still provide the same crappy service!! 1. They won't pick up all the trash even if perfectly bagged and tied. 2. They break your trash can as they are very rough on it. 3. They leave behind pieces of trash on the yard and driveway. 4. We have pickup twice a week and cardboard pick every other week. The Friday pickup was pushed back a day due to weather but then the driver never came on Saturday with no notification, we called on Monday and were told the driver had football tickets and couldn't make it on Saturday. On Wednesday, the driver never showed up for our cardboard pickup, we called and were told the driver said we had no cardboard when he came. Very Odd since I put the cardboard out the night before and we have 2 cameras on our driveway and 3rd on our garage and no record of the truck coming or going that day plus have multiple dogs and work from home yet nobody heard anything and no record of them coming/going. Provided the company a ring photo of the cardboard out the night before and NO response, horrible service! read more

There are so many poor reviews here and across other sites that I cannot believe they are still in business. I cancelled service with them in January of 2021 because they were terribly delinquent on their pickup days and our trash would pile up for two weeks at a time. On multiple occasions, we would request a pro-rated bill because we had paid for service that we did not receive. Finally, we terminated service with them and requested that they retrieve their container from our driveway as the new provider we selected required us to provide our own. We do not have room for extra large garbage cans, so we really needed them to remove their can before purchasing a new one. Several requests were made with no action or response. Therefore, we began using their container and our new provider would perform the service. Today, nearly two years after discontinuing service, I saw their truck outside my house. I went outside moments later to find my trash can gone and all of the trash left in my driveway. Furious as as was, I do realize that it was their container to begin with. I immediately left to go purchase another can since my trash was in my driveway and they were still in the neighborhood picking up other residents' waste. I confronted and asked why they couldn't just go ahead and take my trash, as well. I pointed out that I had previously paid them for service that I did not receive, so taking my garbage this one time was the right the to do. The service man (who I believe is one of the owners) accused me of hiding the can from them (it sits outside my garage 365 days/year) and told me he could not deal with trash that is not his. Inwoukd not recommend this company for any reason. They are lazy, inconsiderate, unresponsive and lack common sense and common courtesy and do not deserve the opportunity to serve you. read more

We switched to Elite Sanitation when Hudgins reduced the recycling pick up to monthly. We always have so much more recycling than trash, and it's a relief to have it collected weekly. Elite is a family-owned business and give great customer service. They also have a back door pick up program if you don't want to take your stuff down to the street (tempting in winter) and will pick up large items. Trash is collected on Tuesdays and recycling on Wednesdays. I'm so relieved to reclaim my garage from stacks of recycling stuff-just had to share the good news and I hope that more of you all take advantage of them coming through the neighborhood! We have Elite Sanitation almost from the time they began over 2 years ago and no problems. The service was great. Recently however they stopped servicing our area without even telling us first. We were paid up for the whole quarter and only received 1 month of service. They switched us to someone else who won't service our address. That company switched us to someone else who would not even contact me. Meanwhile I had to find a new service and pay for them. I have attempted to receive a refund and none will be given. read more

Elitist is a better descriptor for this company than 'elite'. I've lived in a dozen states over a period of 50 years and have never in my travels seen a company so persnickety about the garbage that they pick up. They publish lists of rules about how to bundle and put out your garbage. A minor misstep on your part will result in them leaving your garbage where is sits and them taking a photograph of it to document how you broke one of their rules. I realize that there have to be boundaries for residential garbage collection, but I'm not talking about gross violations here. I've placed used Christmas wrapping paper in a closed 2 x 2 x 2 foot cardboard box that they wouldn't take it because it wasn't in their prescribed plastic bag. People, relax a bit. You're picking up garbage, not organ transplants. This company takes their rules to ludicrous extremes. Something that would take 5 seconds to throw in the back of their truck will instead get an impromptu 30 second photo shoot from their trash collector.
