The whole staff, top to bottom, were excellent! They helped me get all set up on insurance after my previous carrier was no longer providing services to PA residents. Any and all question were answered in a timely fashion by whoever was in the office. It was nice to see such a team approach and that told me all I needed to know about the agency. Very unprofessional! Acted like I was a bother. She was very annoyed and made me feel pressured. After telling her several times I was not interested in switching she then got very rude. She was not friendly. Over the phone she told me what all I could add to my policy, I walked in under the impression I was going to save a ton of money, she then changed her story and nothing she said I could do was possible. Avoid State Farm and especially this agent in Clearfield at all cost. I tried changing insurance companies with her and all she did was take my money and lie to me. She took an initial payment and stated she was going to contact my current agency (Geico) to have that policy cancelled. Nearly a month goes by and Geico withdrew their payment as usual. Upon contacting them, they tell me they never received a cancellation request from State Farm. I contacted the State Farm agent and she said she faxed it. Back and forth with Geico concluded she never did fax it. Since she never cancelled my Geico insurance, I had two different insurance policies at the same time. I cancel the State Farm one and asked for a refund since I didn't need the policy. I paid $115 as an initial payment. The agent refunded me $33! Yeah, no. I contacted her again and she tells me she'll have them send me the full amount. It's been a month and still no refund. I contacted State Farm directly and nothing in response. PennDot, in the meantime, sends me a letter saying I have to surrender my plates because State Farm informed THEM that I dropped coverage. So now in addition to dealing with her keeping my money, I'm dealing with PennDot to not suspend my plates!! This agent sucks and so does State Farm in my opinion. Avoid both! read more
