There's safety town, with a bike path and small buildings that form a small town for the youngins to play. There's a HUGE sandbox, although it sometimes has animal droppings, so enter at your own risk. There is a large assortment of swings, both in quantity and variety. There are the normal swings and baby swings, but they also have the special needs children swings. There is also a large group swing. Off to the side, between the swings and safety town, is a toddler specific playscape. It's perfect for little ones. The main attraction though is the ginormous playscape. And while it's large, my 3 year old happily plays on it for hours, so it's not TOO big. There's probably 6 slides (I can only see 4 from my current spot on the bench), a rope bridge, swing bridge, hideouts underneath, and a variety of ways to climb up. There's also a scavenger hunt and other little activities, if you can keep their focus. There is a lovely splash pad here as well, but it's a separate location on Yelp. There are ample benches around for parents watching their children play. The ground is soft under some turf and there is a good amount of mature trees providing shade from the sun. Lockers are available and there are bathrooms. However, both times I've used the bathrooms, they've been NASTY. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but you get the idea. If you're downriver and have kids, this is a must-stop-spot.

It has a place for food and they eventually plan on opening the wave and if they posted some maps for people to look at or maybe hand out some brochures or an interactive website... that might help improve things. (Trying to tire out a 5 yr old lol) There is this great slide that didn't make me sick that led into 4 inches of water so you have to hold the little ones. There is also a couple of basketball courts to play with in the water where both small and big kids enjoy playing. The water park we went to was for small children no more than 4 feet. For being a Metro Golf Course, it's decently kept…read more Our golf group brought us to this park golf course, as it is not too far from Canton or far from my SIL's work. It's located not too far off from 94 and by 275. Not a far jog from home for us either. It was a nice for us and not a hot day for golfing. Its $16/pp for walking 9 holes or about $25/pp for a cart. Our foursome wanted to get in a walk. It's one of the nicer metro park courses I have been too in a while. The holes are pretty easy though. The course in general was quite open and there is not a lot of foliage or obstacles in the way. Allows for any kind of swing or slices.

They have a playground (with bathrooms in the back) and the trail goes down a paved steep decline that then leads into the boardwalk path way. It is not the most stroller friendly mainly because you are dodging a TON of swan and geese poop the whole time. And it can be bumpy on some parts. But the whole pathway is pretty unique with bridges connecting it (at least 5 bridges) and there is one lookout spot you can go to. We went on a beautiful sunny and windy day and loved it!! Saw so many birds (I have never seen so many swans together before) and nests!! Lots of people fish here too. What a gem! Definitely coming back!

The boardwalk through the wooded trails are beautiful but the real beauty is the boardwalk that goes through the lake. It is amazing! There is sooo much wildlife there, too. There are several spots with picnic tables and benches throughout the trail as well as workout equipment in different spots throughout the trails. It's a beautiful park and I highly recommend checking it out.
