So, I decided to suck it up and shell out a some cash for a good haircut. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's absolutely necessary to pay absurd prices for a good haircut, but I do think the probability that you'll get what you want is higher. Anyway, I gave SHAG a try last week since it's in my neighborhood and was very pleased with my haircut. After being offered a drink, I was consulted in the beginning on exactly what I wanted to do with my hair, and in the end it was one of the best cuts I've gotten since moving over here. The head message was also a nice bonus :) I'll definitely be back!

The salon is lovely and contemporary…read more My stylist was excellent and used excellent products plus a special conditioner for shinning, healthy looking hair. My haircut was great and the people were friendly, although I don't speak German. Most of them spoke English. The cost might have been $20 more than other salons, but I felt like everything was well above par. They even offer sparkling water, coffee or cappuccino.
