15 minutes to get a hold of scheduling. Dropped calls and miss directed. Very customer unfriendly

The business and disease model seem to be practiced here, not the healthcare model - finding disease everywhere, routinely ordering tons of tests, many unnecessary. Before coming to the Elkhart Clinic, I didn't have any diagnoses. Dr. Minnie Enriquez wasted no time in piling up diagnoses on me and ordering tons of tests. Out of 4 serious diagnoses, 3 were not supported by the lab results. But she noted that I refused treatment! I saw the pile of diagnoses in my summary visit I accessed through their portal. The dr. didn't discuss these with me, never an explanation, or discussion of research in the area, or alternative treatments to the ones that are 30 or 40 years old - all this would take time, and she needs to be out in 3 min. I saw Dr Enriquez for a couple of months and every time she spent less than 5 minutes in the office, always writing on the computer. She was visibly annoyed if I asked any questions, and she tends to be condescending. In addition, they have serious accounting issues, with coding intentionally very confusing so that people would not be able to dispute double charges which happen frequently. First time here with my mom, and it will be our last. This place did not send any forms in the mail ahead of time, so we spent 15 minutes filling out paperwork. Walked into the facility totally confused because there's no directory or map at all. Walked to one part of the building to check in, then had to go downstairs, the doctor was AN HOUR BEHIND, and then we had to check out at 2 places. Total crapshow. read more

Elkhart Clinic Medical Records were so helpful in getting my records in a timely way after my doctor retired. The staff in the records department followed thru carefully, and worked with me to actually implement "continuity of care". Doctor offices emphasize this and much more seldom following thru. I was shocked that the staff actually did what they said they would do. That seldom happens. Thank you, I am grateful. read more

FYi. The MD today blew his nose 3 times and never washed his hands, but still touched the patient. We always in the waiting room over an hour with another patient sitting nearby that was coughing over and over and over! read more

I love my doctor but the billing and business practices at the Elkhart Clinic are horrible. After 20 + years I am changing Doctors just to get away from this clinic. The business office is very poorly ran and extremely unprofessional. read more

Poorly ran. Was a Patient for YEARS. Now that I've changed insurance, I'm getting a new doctor. 9/10 times you will wait on average of 30 mins on your doctor--whether you're early/late/on time. They treat you like cattle. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
