We were waited on like royalty at the breakfast we had that was included with our two night stay. Each day a different breakfast & both were delicious & using good china throughout the meal. The rooms were comfortable & modern with lots of space. The whole place is such fun to look at all the decor & pictures. Go in the bathroom upstairs!! Such fun!

When I asked the hostess if she had any tips/hacks to get it cooler she replied saying she couldn't control the weather but that she'd put a fan in the window. The fan actually didn't work. She conceded that it had worked the day before (could be; I don't know! I only know that it didn't work when I was there). I would have liked to get a heads up that her air conditioner was broken & had been for some time due to difficulty getting repairs... I only learned of this the next morning. Also the next morning she was very forthright assuring me that the overnight temperature had gotten quite low! I can only presume she wanted to convince me that it hadn't been so hot in my room... She has a 3-day cancellation policy which is understandable given the nature of a small business operation. I felt it would have been fair had she given me a heads up on the state of the air conditioner just as she wanted a 3-day notice of a cancellation. There was no offer of a discount at all. Really, all she would have had to do would be to offer a discount & I'd have felt that there was some authenticity and professionalism in the whole affair... All in all, I just cannot say if I'd stay there again - not because it isn't beautiful but because I felt deceived & manipulated...
