Elk's Lodge - Michelada - Delano, California

I've been an Elk member in San Pedro for decades now. A friend of mine invited me to a function here and I was excited to visit another Elk's Lodge. Everything was going great. The food was delicious, all the kitchen staff were friendly, thumbs up to all of you. So I tried to mingle in with the members but they were not very friendly. Then I noticed one of the member's wife acting unusual bizarre towards people, so I just went back by the kitchen and observed the situation. Then she blurted out "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!" We'll of course at you, so I just went back into the kitchen. Then get this, The S.W.A.T. Team shows up. Yes the S.W.A.T. Whoever reported her really overreacted. I told my friend thanks for the meal but this place has a lot of DRAMA. I also hear that they have cameras at every space of this place because of weird things that happen here. My friend invited me back for another function but I politely declined, I'm sticking to my hometown Elks Lodge where everybody knows your name and minus the drama. read more
