All of the wait staff and bartenders were very friendly. By the way, the place is HUGE. I couldn't tell from the outside but it was big big big. There were multiple pool tables, a jukebox, shuffleboard, darts, a couple of interactive video games - your very standard large-dive-bar accoutrements. I would likely stop by this place every time I was in Tahlequah. I went there during Spring Break and even then it was still relatively bumping - seems like a real crowd favorite for this town.

Apparently, the restaurant opened in October 2025. It is a big building. Inside unmistakably a restaurant in its previous life. Clean, but worn. A few of the booths and chair's upholstery are scuffed through in places, exposing the underlying whiskers of thread. The padding in several booths had succumbed to the gravitational forces of previous hefty, "all you can eat catfish" customers. A little remodeling maybe? Looks like new flooring and paint. A bright comfortable interior. Chips and salsa come with the meal. Be sure to order the salsa picosa. There is a $2 charge for it. It is worth it. The food is lightly seasoned. You will appreciate the heat with your meal. The menu is big. My wife found the biggest meal on the menu, The Tiger Plate; e. in the combo section. A tamale, cheese enchilada, bean chalupa, beef taco with rice and beans. To celebrate her recent gallbladder surgery, she had the tamale and enchilada smothered in queso! A large, excellent sampling of the restaurant's food. A super burrito for me. Stuffed with steak, covered with red sauce. A dab of guacamole and sour cream on the side. It came with a generous helping of rice and tasty refried beans. Two delicious meals and very good service. Another good Mexican food option in Muskogee. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check the collection "Jalapeno Highway." I've probably been there.

Our waitress was good. Food came out quick and hot. The menu is pretty extensive. Lots to try. But all in all, it was pretty bland. My fajita chicken chimichanga meal had 2! But it was just hardly seasoned chicken inside. No peppers or onions. Rice and beans were fine. White queso and salsa were fine. It's just nothing to write home about. They could use some hot sauce on the tables for sure. If they plan to stand out in a town with loads of other very delicious Mexican restaurants, I think they'll need to step up the flavor.

We were expecting so much more than we found. Things are just laid around in a haphazard way. We recently visited the Alabama music hall of fame in Muscle Shoals which was fantastic. This was kind of a let down.
