Truly some of the best food I've ever had. We started with the croquette - it was crispy and light and the perfect start to the meal. Then we had the beet salad and I can't put into words how delicious it was - my favorite part of the meal. I had the salmon and it was juicy, crispy, tangy, and honestly perfect. My husband had the risotto and said it was fantastic - rich, savory, and salty. And the bread pudding - I have never had better bread pudding in my life.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment I walked up to this restaurant to the moment I left, I felt at home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Customer service was top tier and I can really appreciate a space where I feel like my experience matters. Food is delicious! I'm coming back for everything esp the bread pudding, wow!

First class dining right here at Ellerbe fine foods! We dined here for Valentine's Day as a party of four. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The evening was very romantic and service was on point.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone enjoyed their meal and is looking forward to a return trip. This was definitely a special occasion dining experience. It is very expensive!

If you find yourself in Fort Worth, then you absolutely must go to Ellerbe Fine Foods. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything from the beautiful decor to the delicious food and drink to the friendly service makes for a five star experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's perfect for any occasion, especially celebrations![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our party ate a prefixed menu in the sun room at the front. We enjoyed every moment! I recommend calling ahead with questions about menus, reservations, etc.

The food was delicious, we split several appetizers and were celebrating a birthday. We had an amazing server named Lety. We split several bottles of the featured pinot grigio (Van Duzer) - yum! I can't emphasize enough how great the Mussels appetizer is (limited time so call ahead! Get extra bread. The glazed carrots were really good, my friend loved her Gluten Free Risotto and my other friend licked the plate clean (not really) with the lamb. This is hands down the best bread pudding I have ever had! The redfish was smooth and tasty but I didn't have enough room to eat my potatoes snd took them to-go. My friends both complemented the beet salad appetizer but I was too focused on the crab coquette and mussels. Service was amazing with water being refilled often and many tables were drinking wine and on anniversary dinners & date nights! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is a perfectly lit cottage turned into a restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would guess about 20 tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Valet was free, which was awesome, we tipped him well.

First impression, beautiful Hostess so gracious and very patient with our large party. Our server Michael K. was so impressive, professional and polite! The food is incredible, the best bread pudding in Texas! This is truly fine dining. Thank you Kirby for the warm welcome! We will see you all soon!

Always a great experience at Ellerbe's! Comfortable upscale farm to table fine dining experience in an intimate setting. Bri was our waitress and she killed it! She explained the menu thoroughly giving the origin, connection to the restaurant/chef, preparation, and their intention for the dining experience. She is clearly passionate about the food and providing a great experience! Everyone at our table was really impressed by her knowledge and the service we received. We ordered a few starters to share AND WE LOVED ALL OF IT - SERIOUSLY, ALL PLATES WERE CLEANED Artisan Cheese Plate - good for 2 but could be for more if sharing more starters Beet Salad - so light & fresh! Plump beets atop a delicious herbed chevre with crisp carrots & greens lightly drizzled with a sunflower vinaigrette. I'm not big on beets but this was such a tasty dish. Citrus Poached Gulf Coast Shrimp & Potato salad - don't pass this up if you like shrimp and a light take on potato salad. Such a unique treat. Fried green tomatoes (off menu item) - 3 slices came on the plate. They Were perfectly breaded & served with a mild crab spread on top. Soooo good and not like any fried green tomato I have ever had! They also serve a small plate of bread with a fresh whipped butter topped with some sprinkles of sea salt. For my meal I devoured the Louisiana Redfish. It was a beautiful piece of fish placed on top of a thin layer of a heavenly wild rice corn chowder with a couple of fresh greens and light drizzle of a spicy sauce that gave the dish a nice level of heat in some bites. Other Main dishes at the table also raved about by the others were the roasted loin of rabbit and grilled steak. They also have a dessert menu. I got a MawMaw's Bread pudding to-go and it was a sweet late night treat to share but could have also gone nicely with a cup of coffee for breakfast! They brought us complimentary tiny shortbread cookies with our check which is another soecial touch. Valet parking available for the restaurant. Only downside is the parking which is Increasingly Limited on the street given the growth in the area area but some paid lots are available.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot to celebrate a special occasion or just to enjoy a nice meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu changes with what is in season. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The overall atmosphere is nice and inviting, fancy but not intimidating. Will definitely be going to to try more dishes.

They have a very small dinner menu and it changes frequently. The food here is good, servers attentive. Cozy environment. This is more of a special occasion restaurant with a big wine selections, its not for kids restaurants due to the limited menu options.

Went for the biscuits, but our very wise waitress, Adriana, warned us that the biscuits were made with lard. Well that knocked out a bunch or breakfast options. She was so sweet and actually went to the kitchen and marked the menu pointing out lard-free menu choices. On the menu. Using black ink dots. Above and beyond. So we regrouped our breakfast plans and went mainly vegetarian. The Herbivore was absolutely delicious! Antebellum cheese grits topped with garlicky kale, romanesco and a soft boiled egg. We added a second egg. Split with my hubby. So good!! My sister-in-law had the brioche French toast. French toast topped with honey better, fresh berries and pecan granola. Served with maple syrup. Amazing! Added the duck fat breakfast potatoes. Who knew that the flavor would be so enhanced with the onions, peppers and duck fat. Get this side! Not a coffee drinker, but my hubby really enjoyed the coffee that is sourced from Cusco, Peru. Adriana made sure that the cups were always full and hot. Thank you for the VIP service at Fixe Southern House. Resident discount applied. Born from Opelousas, Louisiana, breakfast served with a huge helping of southern hospitality. We started with the biscuits and cinnamon roll. I would recommend both. The biscuits came with a jam, honey and whipped butter. The cinnamon roll, which may look a bit underwhelming had a such a great crispy texture on the outside while still being fluffy on the inside. The icing wasn't too sweet and complimented the roll nicely. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy. The Fixe breakfast was great and the maple sausage was perfect. Our waitress was Adriana, she was great and very helpful. Overall we would definitely come back and look forward to trying dinner one night.

I got so full so quick that I wasn't able to finish but it made for perfect leftovers later that day. On to the desserts! My mom got a slice of pecan pie and I enjoyed the strawberry cake. First, major credit to Avery and Nancy, who were incredibly kind and patient considering we arrived fairly close to the end of lunch service before the restaurant closed for its afternoon break. We never felt rushed, which I really appreciated. I started lunch by ordering another cocktail (which may or may not have had me buzzing a little by this point) along with the 12 oz. prime rib steak served with buttery herb mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and chimichurri sauce. I'll admit, the steak was thinner than I expected for Texas (I sort of anticipated a Flintstones-sized slab of beef) but honestly? It was fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked perfectly! The mashed potatoes were rich and even the vegetables were great! My dining companions ordered a bit lighter fare, I believe a salad and grilled cheese, but I was far too focused on my steak situation to pay close attention. I left absolutely stuffed and very, very, very happy about it. The atmosphere here is upscale without feeling pretentious. Between the Western inspired decor and the relaxed energy of the Stockyards area, it feels welcoming. Also worth noting: apparently bachelorette parties featuring men in cow-print overalls are welcome here too, so truly something for everyone. Great service, great food, and a really enjoyable dining experience overall. I'd happily come back the next time I find myself in Fort Worth!
