Earlier this year, 2023, I was referred by a friend in the field, to two counselors they knew at Kevin Elliot. I called and was told only one of them took my ins. I was put on a wait list for several months. During this time, I had occasion to give them my entire ins information-group number etc. When there was finally an opening I was called to get an appointment made. I was also told at the same time that suddenly they didn't take my insurance, but could I pay $90 a session. To this day, their explanation doesn't make sense. All this time wasted for nothing. They are limited in their treatments/therapies by decision and not interested in learning or educating themselves to help more people. They will just assign you with anyone no matter your mental health needs. read more

Sent in an initial email stating I was looking for mental health diagnosis re: autism and ADHD, asked in initial email thru the service Psychology Today if that was something a specific provider in this counseling group was able to do. Front desk side of things scheduled the appointment, I filled out the paperwork, waited for the appointment. During the appointment I 1. find out that what I asked for was not possible for that provider to do and 2. the provider insulted my therapist saying she wasn't doing her job, despite knowing nothing about my situation. This wasted almost a month of my time when I could have been looking into somewhere that would take my needs and my time seriously. read more

Terrible. I paid them for medication management and I ran out of meds the first 2 months because of their lack of communication, then my NP left and they don't have anyone to take me. And she didn't send in my last script so again I'll run out of meds. read more

Took me a bit to find the right fit, but Carol T is an excellent therapist. She has the life experience, compassion and expertise to help me work through issues that I've needed to move past. I strongly encourage you to visit Elliott and find the person who works well with you. My only criticism is I think the site needs to add short video therapist intros so you get a better idea of the person you are looking for. My daughter has been going here for over a year and we are so pleased with her experience. They responded immediately when I called, got her in that same week, and have been very supportive ever since. They have smart policies, they take COVID seriously and implement good safety practices, and the therapists are kind and helpful. We will be continuing to use their services for my daughter and anyone else in our family requiring therapy. read more

Do not go here, by far the worst "therapeutic" experience of my life. My counselor was completely unhelpful. When I needed a supporting document from her in order to drop some college classes (that she recommended I drop) late in the semester she took 4 weeks to send them to me. This was far passed the established deadline. All in all, I feel worse after going to this place for four weeks. This establishment should be shut down. read more

This is not a counseling Center to go to!! Most of the staff is afraid of the "boss", Sandra. She has no compassion, sympathy or empathy for her staff, or the clients who do go there! Run away as fast as you can!! There are plenty of private counselors or other centers available! Think long & hard before you go there!! If I wasn't required to rate them with a star...it would be empty of stars!!! read more

I agree with the others reviews. I've stayed away from this place because I've had 2 friends encounter this Sandra person and it was a nightmare. One is overweight and she actually heard her talking about her weight issues and how "gross" it was to another staff member. Disgraceful! read more

The ambiance, the accommodations, everything. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're in a relaxing, safe place. Staci Poe is my counselor and she's absolutely wonderful. She's informative, fun to talk to, open minded and always updating herself with relevant, recent research. I've only just started with her, but I can tell this is going to be a wonderful journey to getting help. I would recommend this place to anyone. They pair you extremely well with a counselor that can help. read more
