They were were for almost 2 hours and only cleaned the oven and the microwave. I asked for a deep cleaning of the kitchen. When I scheduled the cleaning, I asked what it entailed. The lady I spoke with said they would clean the windows, all small appliances, the countertops, cupboard doors, scrub and mop the floor and base board. The two ladies that came to do the job didnt even wash the countertops. There was coffee on the counter from when I poured my coffee that morning, still. The floors were not scrubbed. Less than half of the cupboards were wiped down and obviously needed a cleaning. This was a very light cleaning, nothing close to a deep clean. I even called the next morning to complain that the job was not done. I even sent them pictures. The lady that I was speaking too even agreed the job was not done correctly. They said they could come out that day(friday). I told her that I couldnt have them come out that day (friday) because I literally use my kitchen for my business. I had a huge wedding order and multiple other orders to be completed for the next day. That was the end of the emails. She never emailed me back an offer to come out a different day or anything. Then she told me the best they could do was a 15% off discount for the cleaning. I am furious. They want $150 for cleaning my oven and microwave! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. Do not hire this company! If I could add pictures, I would! This was my first time hiring a cleaning company. I wanted a deep clean and then a regular weekly cleaning and they did such a horrible job. How can a cleaning company only clean 1/4 of a kitchen and then expect a customer to pay for the service. This is not what i hired them for. I would have paid for it, if it was done correctly or even close to finished. Even if they would have said something along the lines of "this job is bigger than we anticipated" OR something! But not a word. The cleaning lady asked me if the oven looked good, which is does. But then when it was time for them to leave, they just packed up and said bye. This was a place I relished once upon a time in college. Then my fellow Spartan and I used to take the kids up to their ice cream shop when they were babies. Now we come up here to find the truck and mini freezer stands to get our Melting Moments fix. Our favorite is the very simple ice cream sandwich. It is just a scoop of vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two perfect and chewy chocolate chip cookies. This time we each got one, no sharing. The mini stands also sell ice cream bars and frozen lemonade. If you prefer a wider variety, their food trucks offer a variety of scoopable flavors. I am not sure about now, but in the past they also did a customizable ice cream sandwich where you could pick the flavors. Since I did not use the truck this time, I will speak from my past experiences, but a lot of times they have the slush puppy frozen drinks. How they made it was some of the best slush puppies I have had, very smooth, icy, and delicious, not at all chunky or too icy. Very refreshing. I went on their site. I see they still have a kitchen in the Lansing area and will cater events. I have seen their ice cream in some stores from time to time as well. I try to have some of their treats at least once a year. Even though their store is gone, I am glad to still get a chance to have those treats. They are not only nostalgic, they are delicious. The advantage of Melting Moments is that in addition to good ice cream, they sell gelato, which I had begun to despair of ever finding in mid-Michigan. If you've never had gelato, it's a denser, smoother dessert than ice cream that is absolutely wonderful on a hot day. They also have great ice cream cakes and sundaes. The other big advantage of Melting Moments is ample seating capacity, unlike the MSU dairy store, which has no seating at all. And with two great local places, why would you ever go to the soulless corporate behemoth around the corner?
