Is there a rating below one star? This is definitely a dive bar that happens to have two poles for some dancers. I don't know if it was a slow night or not but I was the same dancer dancing for more than an hour and she's the only one that I ever saw up there. On the early morning hours, like 12:00am, of Mother's Day of 2012 or 2013 I had a very displeasing experience here. I intend to file a FOIA to get the police report I filed on them and I'll update this reviews's exact date. I called here to ask what their cover was. I naïvely told the guy that answered the phone I only had $40 to spend. He said we'll gladly take your $40 and the cover is $5. I asked him if he was on drugs because of his fast paced speak patterns. He hung up the phone. I got there and paid the bouncer with $5 in quarters. I asked the bouncer who the guy on the phone was because it sounded like he was on drugs. He said he didn't know. I talked with some dancers. The bartender told me they have a two drink minimum. I told him I don't drink alcohol. He suggested soda. I told him I wasn't thirsty and would buy them when I was. The employees waited until the girl that I wanted to see dance was on the stage to kick me out. The grabbed me by my neck and waste band and guided me to the door. I called the police to see my rights about theft of my cover money and assault and battery. As I was waiting in the parking lot several of the clubs dancers left when they heard I called the police. I over heard one of them tell the bouncers I was a nice kid and the bouncers ruined their night by kicking me out. The Peoria police officer informed me I didn't have a basis to file anything with no injuries and that the business had the right to refuse service. We went our separate ways. On my drive back to my home town the next morning my cell phone started to do strange things like skip songs and pause. That was the first time I remember having blatant cell phone problems with normal functioning. I do NOT recommend this place. Girls are friendly and engaging. They have a pool table, so extra star for that. It's a bit of a dive strip club but it is called the roadhouse after all so it fits its name. If you want something a bit fancy with more of a party feel, go to Luxx. read more

The club is very small so I almost skipped it to head to my usual spots while in town. Drink prices are too high for joint like this. If it wasn't for the stage and 2 dancers I'd think I was drinking at a hole in the wall. Music was too loud and bathroom vile. The dancers were very attentive, however, so I decided to stay and have a 2nd. So glad I did. Instead of going to the massage parlor I lucked out here. The dancer with the green hair had a $125 special I couldn't refuse and offered more but I had to pass on that one. Tavel alot across the states. I usually go to strip club. Im very comfortable in them. This is a new place for me. But you couldn't tell the place wlecomed me. Atmosphere was fun and lively.... The ladies were engaging and sweet to greet. The ladies really really knew how to work the pole... on the stage and lap dances... they really showed their appreciation for your support... the bartender pour good strong drink(you can taste what you paid for you know) and they keep the love coming... price where cheap in comparison to some others i could name. I liked this club. Their drinks are really high. I was charged $5.50 for a Schmirnoff ice. Soda is $3 and a bottle of water is $3. The have several beer specials but I don't like beer so I don't have many options. I didn't feel guilty at all not buying anything at all with those kind of prices. Their set-up is pretty good. Big stage in the middle with a pole on it. Also a leather recliner on the side the hoes tend to use more as a table. The strippers there seem glad to be there and some of them put an effort into the job. A lot of them though just stand around and talk amongst each other or hang out in the DJ booth instead of working. They're not even trying to make any money so why are they there? I wouldn't say I saw any top tier strippers but they had, what I would rank, from good to below average. The music was pretty good under both DJ's but I definitely liked one DJ more. He played really good music, but he did talk a little too much. And sometimes DJs seem more like salesmen than anything and that's pretty lame. If the hoes and their small saggy tits can't sell me anything some clown on a mic won't be able too. These strippers need some real education of presentation: with their looks, mannerisms, verbally, nonverbally, everything. Strippers can either convince me to give them my money, or convince me out of it. And these girls by and large convinced me out of it. And the DJ has no influence. None. So he should stop talking. I didn't see any fake boobs and that really could have helped most of them. Only one pair of big real ones. The second time I was there some customer slut got on stage and did her stripper thing and she was more hot than any girl there! Why doesn't she work there!? I guess they have food there but I've only seen one guy ever eating and I don't see any menus or anything or maybe I would have bought something if there food wasn't 100% more expensive than other bars like the drinks were. Don't go to this place. Dancers are obnoxious and trashy. It was 3 weeks ago one Saturday evening I went there. That was my first time to this club. I wanted to try the VIP room so dancer took my $120 dollars first then started arguing with me inside the room stating that she wants more money for dance. After 5 minutes arguing with me she said that she is done with me. She said what I paid to her upfront was for come to the VIP room and for dace I have to pay her extra. She totally robbed me. She is a white brunette girl has piercing on her both side of bottom lips. I wish I could make a complain to the owner of the place and they should return my money . This totally bad customer service. People go to this places for fun not to be robbed by trashy stripper. No pressure?! That's a bold face lie. I went in and was told by the bartender of the two drink minimum. Then asked to buy a drink. I did not then because I was waiting on others to buy them drinks. There was one entertainer on stage, I tipped her, and there was not another girl on stage during the first part of my visit. I say the first part because I was pressured to get drinks or leave. I was kicked out because I wasn't spending money fast enough how they wanted. I was told to buy drinks or leave. I was told I could come back in when who I was waiting for and pay cover, which I avoided by being there early, and still be forced to buy two drinks. No pressure is such a lie. I was able to get back in with no cover, tipped the first person stage and bought more than the minimum on the second part of my visit. I did what I said I was going to do, but that was not enough for them. This is too bad because they have a few good entertainers. I was told the two drink minimum was for the live entertainment, which was really not there. My first visit, last at least twenty minutes, saw only the girl when I walked in. Most of the time there was no entertainment! So no pressure is not the only lie this club tells! The atmosphere was so that one of the people that I came to see, left because of it. I hope the good entertainers leave for better pastures because this place is horrible and definitely not worth the time or money to spend your time at, definitely not what it used to be, and with how everything is now, it never will be.
