In the past two years I've had 5 different PCP's. They leave. A new one is assigned. They leave. Now they have NO PCP's taking new patients. You get whoever is around. They don't have time to review your chart or complaint. My fave PCP left because of the stress of paperwork and short time allotted to see patients. If you need speciality care, they do pretty well but as for having a doc that knows anything about you, forget it. It is really very scary especially as I get older and need someone on top of my care. Maybe instead of a state of the art facility, CMH could focus on quality care.

I have had four procedures in the last year that required anesthesia, three at CMH, no issues. There are good mechanics and bad mechanics. Same applies to doctors and anesthesiologists. Take caution. Excellent first experience with Harbor Foot & Ankle Clinic…read more I was referred by my PCP after years of foot and ankle pain that had progressively limited my ability to walk, hike, and remain active. During my first appointment, Dr. S quickly identified the issue as PTTD Stage II. He thoroughly explained the diagnosis, answered my questions, and helped me understand what had likely been causing symptoms that had affected me for years. One memorable moment was when he pointed out the protrusion on the inside of my right foot and commented that it was one of the worst he'd seen. I can honestly say that wasn't an honor I was hoping to earn! Thankfully, he followed that statement with solutions and a clear treatment plan. What I appreciated most was how focused he was on helping me maintain my mobility and quality of life. My husband Dwight and I first came to Washington in 2015 for a healthcare travel assignment. One of our favorite photos was taken at a Mount Rainier viewpoint during that trip. More than a decade later, we still spend our free time exploring the Pacific Northwest, hiking, photographing wildlife, visiting lighthouses, and chasing beautiful views. When foot pain starts limiting those experiences, it affects far more than your feet. For the first time in a long time, I left a medical appointment with answers, a diagnosis, and a realistic plan moving forward. Dr. S was knowledgeable, personable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping me continue doing the things I love. Highly recommend Harbor Foot & Ankle Clinic.

The nursing staff were also professional along with making me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Sheikhizadeh came into to the exam room within minutes of me getting in there( which almost never happens in most doctor offices !!!) After examining my foot he made a diagnosis quickly, explaining treatment options, along with shoe choices which will also help. He was able to give me an injection then and recommended I come back in a month for a recheck. I am thrilled with the doctor and his team. And to top it off, I don't have to drive to Olympia !!!!!!!

However, I was determined to stay local and give it a shot, so I bravely scheduled an appointment. Long story short, this place is really underwhelming. They have no capacity (or seeming interest) in comprehensive care of feet and ankles. What they can do is make you orthotics. And tell you that you have bad shoes. What's really unfortunate is how many appointments they will try and stretch it out into. Not one of my appointments was more than about 10 minutes of actual personal interaction. And they want FOUR to give you a pair of orthotics. For each, they want a full co-pay, even for the 5 min "yes, these work" follow-up. Which, of course, has far less to do with wanting my pittance of $30 and more to do with wanting to bill insurance as hard as possible. If you need care for your feet - a team what will think about how you will walk the rest of your life - go somewhere else. If you just need affordable orthotics - well, you should probably go somewhere else then, too. But, if you want to spend a lot of time and money to get some new orthotics, this is the right spot for you!

They stated I was required to arrive 15 minutes early, a policy that was not clearly communicated beforehand. The delivery of this information was unprofessional and dismissive, which was particularly disappointing given that the waiting area was entirely empty at the time. Additionally, the office environment was unappealing due to a noticeable and unpleasant odor in the facility. Overall, this was a highly disappointing experience, and I will be seeking specialized care elsewhere.
