The absolute best nail salon in West County! Jane and Jack and their amazing staff go out of their way to pamper you and their expertise in different nail treatments is outstanding. I have been going there for about 20 years and have referred many friends who are also regular customers. My mother was also a regular before she passed and I Will never forget how kind Jack was to her...coming to the car and putting her in her wheelchair. She felt like a queen! I always get compliments on my nails...they do an incredible job and won't let you leave till they are perfect. I always make an appointment but they take walk ins as well. I've never been treated so poorly before in a spa. I guess they assumed I didn't have money to pay as soon as I walked in the door. I asked for gel nails and they used regular polish but still charged me for gel. Then we're extremely rough on my 12 year olds fingernails. We were quiet and respectful so idk what the issue might have been but I asked if I was being charged for gel and got no response. I paid and left. If you're a POC probably go somewhere else. I have gone here for 10 years in that time they have been great. Until the last year. There is so much attitude over the last few times but in February of this year I have had enough. Nicky did my nails for an evert and when I started work on Monday I couldn't type I called and went in. She had a nasty attitude and used the Dremel and walked off. She made me feel like I did something wrong. No good bye just a nasty uncomfortable attitude. She didn't use the soft file on them. They were sharp as hell. Came here for a gel pedicure and they charged $10 to remove my previous gel pedicure. I have lived in STL, Louisville, and Dallas and no place has ever charged this to remove. The pedicure and experience was fine just seemed cheap to do that and they don't offer water or drinks to you like other a salons. I've been here two times. The first time I came with a friend. The girl who did my nails did a good job. The guy who did my friends nails did an awful job and acted very annoyed when she wanted them filed down more. The next morning the dip was peeling off her nails. They looked awful. She went back and the owner yelled at the man who did them in front of everyone. Redid her nails and then expected her to pay. Fast forward to my most recent visit. I went back because I liked my nails. I walked in and only had to wait a couple minutes. I was seated and showed the tech a picture of the color I wanted. She then said I HAD to pick a color from their choices. I had asked for help finding a color closest to it (because they know their selection better than I do) i did not get any help from anyone. They wrapped each nail in foil then told me to go select a color. I started looking for the color I wanted and about 3 minutes later the man walks back over and asks if I'm ready. I told him no not yet. Another 30 seconds goes by and a woman (whom I believe is the owner) asks if I'm ready. I again said no, I'm almost ready. I felt rushed and just picked a color right then. I turned around and the tech who was supposed to be doing my nails, was now doing a pedi. I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come back over and finish my nails. They were still wrapped in foil. (mind you, the pedi he was doing, those customers walked in about 15 mins AFTER me.) The woman who finished my nails (I had gone through 3 different techs by now) was very apologetic and kind. She didn't have much to say, which is fine but she was rushing the entire time. She left a lot of excess powder on my fingers that I had to go home and take off on my own. I usually went here during the school year but I started to notice that the nails ALWAYS fall off and they rushed my nails usually which made them end up to be sometimes crooked or thick. The designs were pretty good but I don't see why a upcharge for a different shape other then square because it takes 30 sec to clip them into that shape and like 3 min to file them which is overcharge. They aren't very friendly though and always seem annoyed with me everytime I said something or asked for them to do somthing on my nails. Overall the designs were good but they don't last long and they never gave what I asked for they always gave me the things that cost more money that I diddent ask for just to make me pay more. read more

My daughter went in to get her nails done. They did not completely cover her nails. When I brought it up to their attention and asked her to fix it she raised her voice and started yelling at her that she picked the color. My daughter is dark skinned and has used similar colors in the past and has never looked like that. In addition they did no prep work on the nails. Didn't even shape or file them. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. I've been here several times. Always to get gel dips. 10 days ago I got my gel dips done and one has already came off. I usually can have one set of gel dips for 3-4 weeks. Not just 10 days. Slightly irritating. Another irritating thing is that I feel like every time I go in they are so rushed and they promise things that don't happen. Like the second to last time I was there they were so busy I waited for 2 hours, I was promised my pedicure compensated and they charged me over instead of comping it for me. I also had to ask for my pedicure station to be sanitized. Not a good feeling. read more

I went there today and I have to say I was very impressed. They are doing all the right things. They are only taking appointments and no walk-Ins. That is the way it should be. There are petitions up between customer and employee, everyone is wearing masks, sanitizer at every station and a lot of hand washing. This was hands-down the best foot/leg massage I've received at a nail salon. I really felt like they cared and wanted to spend the time on a job well done... and I asked for only the "deluxe" pedicure (1 step above the lowest)! During my visit, there was another woman getting an acrylic mani, and the detail to her nail shape and the fade on her polish with the airbrush turned out stunning!!! The man who did my nails wasn't very nice, the women who did my design was really nice and did a great job which is the only reason why I gave them 3 stars. If it wasn't for them they would have a 1. My nails look okay but are very uneven and one of my nails looks crooked so I had to to somewhere else to get it fixed. I honestly probably will never go back. They kept asking me if I wanted gel and I kept saying no but they wouldn't take that answer. I would highly suggest never going here unless you want a design. read more

I have been there twice for dip, limited experience and only 2 ladies know how to do it. Last Sunday had nails dipped. Lady used dremel for cuticle cutting. Very painful, lots of cuts on my fingers and polish stuck to skin as well. Service maybe fast but, not worth the chance for infection and pain! read more

Never used shop before. When in to get full set of acrylics. Got talked into dip nails. By day 10 my first nail started to come off from the cuticle area. 2 days later another nail did the same. The girl i went with got acrylics and they started popping of at 13 days. We were there on a Monday. The shop was not very sanitary. Could be why my nails did not stay on. The EN staff is eager to please. The spa is roomy and comfortable. The gel nails last about two weeks before needing fills and don't chip or scratch. I receive lots of compliments on my ENs. Jen did my fill and it turned out wonderfully, but she had to help another guest, so a different technician painted my nails.
