When I told him his employee had made the appointment, he said "well, she was wrong" and told me to come back at 4 pm, which I am unable to do. He then rudely said "well, then, it must not be that important to you." I was dumbfounded at both his rudeness and his refusal to honor an appointment made in person. I certainly would not go back. CONS: BEWARE If you are getting a facial, PLEASE be aware that they are extremely rough, to the extent that you question the training. I left with actual scars on my face from aggressive extractions. I believe she used her nails and a day later, I had marks on my face. Other friends have had similar experiences and have sworn this place off. I left that feedback for the staff and was never responded to.

Although my Spanish is close to slim to none, they took care of me and made decisions about my well being based on their professional analysis. The facial was a mix of European electric stimulation, aroma therapy and asian wraps. In additional to the fantastic facial they also did arm/hands, feet massage and neck/ shoulder massage. The whole time, a little bit over an hour, zen music was playing which really helps with relaxation, I am normally not good at that as my brain always wonders and stops at the office to figure out the rest of the Day/ week...but I really zoned out There was not product push or add on to the facial...this was a great experience. I could have gone home after that but next was an exfoliation scrub and wrapped in saran. Shortly was washed then moisturized. Skin was soft as a baby. Then my facial was up next. I don't know what tool she used for the extraction but I thought she created a new layer of skin. Lol. Next I got dressed then off to get a manicure and pedicure in a massage chair and a view of the outside pool. Chlorophyll water available. Every part of my visible anatomy was massaged...in between my fingers and toes and scalp too! Whew! I don't know what to tell you but this was like a 3.5 to 4 hour experience for a great price. I slept like a baby. I'm definitely going back before my time in Merida is up. I'm a happy, relaxed lady.
