It is a cozy little restaurant on the main street in town where you can either dine in or take out. After spending the day working on my moms place and not feeling much like cooking we thought that we'd go and grab a bite. The waitress was young and friendly who greeted us and brought us our drinks and menus. The owner came out of the back as well to introduce herself and have a quick chat. I ordered the steak and mashed potatoes with gravy and my mom had the same. The steaks were so tasty... definitely Alberta beef and were cooked perfectly! There's also a wide selection of home baked goodies to choose from. I had the lemon meringue pie and even ate the crust. It was so flakey and delicious. It's nice to be able to support a local business woman who produces good quality food for a very reasonable price.

So I decided to give them another try. I'm glad I did. There has been a couple of hiccups but they made everything right, any misunderstandings were rectified within an hour. I had the homemade roast beef sandwich and it was extraordinary. The meat was fresh and tender and the bread was fresh baked.
