Holy…read moreCross Cemetery is predominantly Polish in heritage as the entrance pillars also read Holy Cross in the language of the Poles. There is also a large Croatian section. Many Irish, Italians, Mexicans are also interred at Holy Cross as all are welcome to this Catholic cemetery. Band leader Gene Krupa and Speck murder victim, Gloria Davy are buried here too. Beautiful grounds and stunning mausoleum complex. The office is an architecturally significant structure. Great staff and cemetery workers make your visit go well. Lovely well kept grounds. Rest in Peace loved ones.

'never rated a cemetery before…read more.. My dear parents both passed within the last 2 years. Oak Hill used to be run down, old. Not anymore. It is a beautiful park like setting with great service. Yes, Service! Kudos to the North Township Trustee for taking over and restoring this cemetery a few years ago. Now: The lawns an trees are green and trimmed. The entrance has been restored to its regal status. Markers are upright. No rubbish...anywhere. It's a wonderful, historical, peaceful place...people strolling the area. Oak Hill has such rich history. The real distinction is in service. Kelly Vicari, Cemetary Manager, has catalogued thousands of records to help find your loved ones. She and her staff are friendly, kind and there to serve. For my Dad's service, she and her crew were there to comfort and support before and after the service. They are angels.

We scheduled my Mom's funeral with this place, having to make the arrangements over the phone…read morebecause we live in Arizona. We requested that the service be held in the chapel at the cemetery. The morning of the funeral, everyone was waiting outside the locked chapel. A cemetery worker drove up in a pick-up and told us we should go to the crypt. There was NO ONE available from the funeral home to address this with. Some people were late for the service and a few missed it entirely because they did not know where to go. When I addressed this later with my contact person, he said services are normally held at the crypt and that he would have someone from the cemetery validate this for me. The guy form the cemetery called me and said while services are USUALLY held crypt-side, we could have requested they be in the chapel. This means my funeral home contact did not communicate my wishes. In addition, even if they are normally held at the crypt, then he could have told me this in advance. At a minimum, terrible communication and outright lies.
