They do as that you wash your hands before you touch anything there are sooooo many things to paint from coffee mugs to picture frames! You can walk up and get up to 4 colors on your paint plates. You can pick your colors form the wall where they have all they colors numbered and you can see what they look like painted and glazed pretty neat! You can pick up your masterpiece in about 7 days.the staff great! I mean really great!! They came and checked in us several times and it was really nice to see such a good team of people. As we had 5 people we were able to have a private event and we could choose what we wanted to cook from his options. We chose the pasta and ravioli making class. I wasn't sure what to expect, and thought maybe we'd be watching the Chef cook and maybe we'd be following along but nope, he had us dive right in and follow the recipes he provided using ingredients he had at the ready. Since there were 5 of us, we worked in groups of two each working on different recipes and all along Chef was right there watching us and helping us and giving us pointers (3 of us were pretty seasoned cooks and knew a lot about cooking but we still learned a lot!!) Chef was very patient even when mistakes were made or something didn't turn out right he told us how to fix it. In 3 hours we made homemade focaccia bread, fettuccine, fresh basil angel hair pasta as well as sausage and cheese stuffed ravioli along with 3 types of sauces- Alfredo, marinara, and vodka. And then while we were eating this delicious food he began to show us how to prepare our dessert of bananas foster allowing the birthday girl to do the honors of igniting the rum by just the tip of the pan. Wow! What an amazing fun evening! The kitchen was huge, well appointed and clean and Chef was amazing to work with every step of the way from the planning to the execution. He offers date night menus for couples as well as many other menus. I highly recommend an evening cooking with Chef Chris. This was definitely one of the highlights of our birthday weekend/family get together.

I was a waitress for 5 years and I have worked in healthcare with direct patient care every single day for the last 10 years. The last thing I want to do when I'm the customer anywhere is to make the service worker's job harder. I would NEVER, and have never heard anybody that i've been working with or been anywhere to witness someone speak to a customer the way I was spoken to last night at the checkout counter in Michael's in Morgantown. Her name is LAURA, she's in her 50's or 60's, and she had a small dog on the counter in a bag wearing a red michael's shirt at the time. FULL STORY-- I visited the Morgantown store yesterday evening, after working a 12 hour shift, in hopes of purchasing a few helium filled foil balloons for my daughter to wake up to on her 2nd birthday, which is today. I got off work at 7:30 and got to the store around 8, knowing they closed at 9. I shopped around a little, looking for a few more things I needed to get for my daughter's birthday party this weekend, and I shopped the balloons last since I knew they were done at checkout. I decided to check the time, because I didn't want to checkout at the very last minute, and it was 8:42 at the time, so I made my final decisions and stood at the checkout area. Laura actually saw me standing there from a far and made a weirdly aggressive gesture towards me that I only caught the tail end of. I thought at the time that she was asking me if I was ready, so I made very brief eye contact with her and said yes and shook my head. She definitely looked at me, but then she just kind of shrugged her shoulders and continued moving the shopping baskets. I could feel her hostility even then, but I kind of shrugged that off because I like to hope for the best, like maybe she was looking past me and I just read it wrong. I WASN'T. Finally, she came to the register, the closest one to the door. She never said anything to me or gestured me toward her, but I assumed that meant I could checkout there, so I walked up and put my things down. The first thing she said to me that entire interaction was my total. I knew at that moment that she was not going to offer to inflate those 3 balloons for me, so I asked, "don't you guys do the helium for those here?". She responded, "Not tonight" in a very defensive tone and glared at me. She was waiting for me to ask her that and when I did, she reacted. I stood there dumbfounded for a few seconds in disbelief and simply asked "why not?". She said, "well we close in 10 minutes". I laughed in disbelief and said, "well thats pretty ridiculous". We stood there for a few seconds and I didn't know how to respond. She just kept telling me that she wasn't doing them and ultimately I just told her to cancel my entire order, and she could spend the last TEN MINUTES of her shift putting all my shit back where I got it. She started acting like she was voiding everything and one of her coworkers walked up and behind the counter and she said "she wants to do a full balloon order 10 minutes before we close" & I responded, "IT IS 8:46" and I probably said that like 4 times while she was mumbling under her breath. I know for sure at one point she said, "I guess I'll just LEAVE LATE TONIGHT", directing her raised voice sarcastically in my direction. Which I probably responded with another "It is 8:47", since she didn't hear me the first 4 times I reminded her of the time. Her coworker at some point did say she would do the balloons, but she also did not seem phased by her behavior in anyway. She was completely neutral to the situation--not supportive or defensive. I cannot imagine this miserable woman doesn't do this all the time. I waited til my daughter was napping today, around 2:00 to call and speak with a manager about the events. Her name is Cassie. I told her the situation in detail the best I could, but I did not leave that conversation feeling better about it. She sounded busy when she answered, like she didn't really have the time to talk about the reason I was calling. I didn't necessarily feel heard. It sounded like she was just saying what she had to say & going through the motions. She didn't sympathize with me at any capacity. I laid out the details from the encounter the best I could, but her responses were not conversational. The only question she asked me was, "how many balloons was it?" I told her 3 and she didn't defend or confirm her actions. She said she would "give this information to the higher ups" & I hope she does. I ended that phone call pretty abruptly. She just made me feel like a Karen, even with all the details. You really have no idea what anybody you encounter is going through. My daughter doesn't know it, but she woke up on her 2nd birthday without balloons because Laura decided HER time was more important than anyone else's. I will truly NEVER forget this.
